Send a message via ICQ to Gros Bonhomme
Hoping for a full 60 minute effort tonight from the guys. Arguably the most important game of this season and against our arch rivals the Bruins.

Go Habs Go!

Dude, at least for you, there is like, 0 reason as to why a guy would be so insensitive as to call you "Dude", bro.

On the other hand, LoneWolf54 has no evident clue as to her being a female. And obviously, there are not girls on the internet except when noted otherwise... So I can understand the stupidity of some posters about the man.

I understand completely. Its just funny that no one thinks of writing he or she instead of he because most people automatically assume hockey fans on a forum are guys.

If one wanted to go into pedantics, we could make the remark that grammatically-wise, the masculine happens to be the default gender to use when you have only gender-neutral information.

But I am no pedantic in english (only in french ), so I will let another one argue that way.

Seguin getting scratched? I thought promising rookies were never to be scratched ever.

I'm getting sick of these back-to-back games. The schedule is a joke this year. That said, GO HABS GO! Beating the Bruins is one of life's great pleasures.

Most americans only speak poor english, nevermind a fluent second language. There for, most wouldn't know that most other languages use the male form more dominanlty for...uhh...everything.

Most use he because anyone that is a season ticket holder, posts on a forum, and can actually talk hockey and know what they are talking about MUST be a guy. Right?

Many just don't look at display names. Or they know five words of English/French and "dude" is one of them

Eh, being a Bruin fan isn't a dealbreaker for me. Only Maple Leaf fans.

Probably saddens her that such a nice poster happens to support the Ennemy, and thu maybe no real friendship can arise out of it.

But I disgress with her. Please remember the word of the Prophet:

The Bruins are chokers and extremely soft. They are the saddest bunch of "fake-tough" guys in the league. I'd be embarassed to lose this game.

It still came across as someone who was calling for the death of a player just because he's not as good as he used to be.

Sorry, could have used another word. I know you weren't serious but the ones reading it don't always get it and report it
