What this game demonstrated is the potential of the Canadiens' forwards to score. Unfortunately, we have disgusting dead weight which hinder our productivity. If the Gomez line had not been humiliatingly awful, this outcome may have concluded in our favor. As far as I am concerned the experiment is over and Andrei ought look for a new address. Evidently, nothing can be done in regards to Gomez but we can deal AK.

Consider this was all without Cammalleri.

Darren Duteschyn Just Referred to the Bruins as "We"

"We showed them tonight."

This dense tubby man-child is such a pathetic loser. Looks like he should be sucking on a root beer lolly and wearing a "beanie". He's been fawning over the Bruins and hating on the Habs for years now. How come noone ever calls him on it?

Habs are soft team. As classless as the Bruins were...they acted like this cuz they knew there would be no retribution. Did you see them fighting like this when Savard got hit? No.

Get some god damned perspective and realize that every ****ing time the Habs have beaten this Bruins team it's because they outskilled them.

But go ahead, call up Ryan White and get Zach Stortini off waivers. That woulda solved things tonight.
One game like this in the playoffs and the series is over. But no lets keep dancing around and pretend the habs don't fold like hot laundry. Do you know what momentum is? LOOK IT UP!

I wonder what was going through Pyatts head when JM told him he was on for that shift. I actually feel really bad for him. Probably the nicest guy on the team and he has to drop them because our team is full of non fighters.

Exactly..the smurf brigade on Montreal won 2 straight fights and the Big Bad bOOINS ego took a huge hit so their tough guys had to respond by fighting our non-fighters.

Our defense was just **** tonight. Gave up too many odd man rushes, clear lanes to the net and some stupid decisions by Spacek, Gomez and Subban. Price made some saves after it was 2-0 but then couldn't after that.

Important to note Thomas just is not the VEZINA calibre goalie against us...we are in his head.

Don't know why Price wasn't pulled after like the 5th goal or so. He was getting no defensive help but still couldn't stop a beach ball tonight.

I don't know if this is one of those games that's so ****ed up it's a complete write-off, or if you read the team the riot act for being so terrible defensively.

Everyone should calm down.

You can still see that the Habs have some excellent hockey talent.

All is not lost.

I agree, a team builder if there ever was one. i would rather us lose a game like this one than the one we lost against Jersey. I wish Pouliot would show some more of this grit. I loved his fight last year against the Rangers and I loved this one even more. GO HABS!!!!

Welcome to the Jacques Martin world, where fighting is prohibited, thus not getting any thugs to help the team.

This is the EXACT, SAME, SAME pattern than when the Laffs were the Bruins and the Hens were the Habs. Quinn used the same tactics during games after the All-Star break, just to shake up the Hens a bit. And get into their heads with the physicality aspect of the game. It worked against Martin at the time, and it will work again.

Bruins like to dominate physically, thats their history...Fans wants to win win fights and be tough.........not win games.....Winning is secondary....thats why they havent won anything since we went on Mars....

Exactly. Against the Pens, Leafs, or Flyers, this doesn't happen.

Yeah Price made a few great saves early but he gave up 2 weak ones and gave up bad rebounds on the Lucic and Sidenburg ones.

In the playoffs, you won't see players jumping on another, who doesn't want to fight, and beat him up. As ****** as this league is, that doesn't happen.

Did he really? There was too much was going on to keep up with it all..

Now everyone take a DEEP breath.. This was only the Bruins 2nd win in their last 10 against the Habs so they were due for a win.. Next game everything will be back to normal..

Oh yeah.. Gomez sucked terribly tonight..

This game changed my mind.

No, we do not need a tough guy. We need another D-man.

**** like this isn't going to happen in the playoffs. Bruins fans can circle jerk to this game for the next 2 months for all I care, it will have no effect on the playoffs.

We desperately need another D.

Spacek is erratic and unpredictable. Weber and Subban are rookies. Wiz is mediocre in his own zone. And Gill is the least mobile player in the league 5 on 5.

Forget this game and GET A D-MAN. (And I don't mean a Todd Simpson type)

Come on people, wake up. Ok say we get 1 tough guy like Chris Neil wats he gonna do? take on all the boston bruins? our team isn't built with size we rely on our speed to beat teams. We OWNED the Bruins winning the last 8 of 10 ok. Did you see the Bruins fans saying stupid things like "oh my god we need to get smaller and faster guys in order to compete with the habs".

We dont need big goons we need tough players ala Moen but with scoring touch. We just gotta play our game and we'll be successful. Our top scorer and two of our best defenseman are out, albeit its not excuse but still.

The overreactions on this board is horrendous and over exaggerated...get it together

you know it was a 'game of the year' when you go through almost 2 GDT threads and it's not springtime.
