Hated the way Pyatt got pumped in the final minutes, really hard to watch, but atleast he didn't drop like that ***** Krejci. It's really unfortunate we don't have anyone to keep the B's honest.

Yes, I know, he didn't fight Laraque back in the 1800's.
Moen and him were jawing eachother pretty good. I'm sure if push had come to shove, moen would have gone with him. Might have lost though.

And I don't see how bringing up a past example of Lucic ducking a superior fighter helps your cause. Lucic is a better fighter than 99% of the team, if not 100%. So they don't fight him. Cool. Now when a better fighter for Lucic to test himself against came along, he avoided that confrontation too.

What's the difference?

Gomez and Kostitsyn are the worst things on this team.

Holy smokes.

Defense. I think he said that a few times already.

Ryan White may be trucculent but cmon, if you are talking about beating the Bruins with physicality White aint gonna help you do it.

Before all the ranting posts...what cost us the game is piss poor defensive play and a bad night by Price, not the fact taht we don't have a goon at the end of the bench...though it would ahve been nce to have Laraque on this night.

We're not tough enough but we have more pressing needs that should be addressed before we think about it. What would be nice is a tough intimidating defensive dman or a tough goalscoring top 6. But I would just as happily settle without the tough part if we have to pay a premium for it.

Trying to talk sense to the angry mob that is about another fight away from a riot?! I mean really?! Good luck though

This game was a mess in every way. It proves nothing in any argument. It was a complete once ever 10 seasons gong show that didn't reflect our game, or the bru's, in any way. Forget about it.

3-1 against the Bruins this year, the only loss was in a gong show and now we're doomed.

Get some god damned perspective and realize that every ****ing time the Habs have beaten this Bruins team it's because they outskilled them.

But go ahead, call up Ryan White and get Zach Stortini off waivers. That woulda solved things tonight.
I agree with you for the most part, but I think games like this set a tone, you're going to have some Habs players hearing footsteps next game, especially guys like Hammer and Spacek, causing them to make even more turnovers.

It would be nice to have another forward beside Moen who could answer the bell, and at least one defenceman who can fight. Don't want Pools fighting.

If the Habs PP can stay untracked that might be prove to be a better deterrent to the B's goonery.

What a night! Very entertaining night, a win would have been good but we're not too far away from Bruins points anyways. Not a big deal. If anything, this has shown we can score multiple goals. But its also shown that our defense was very off tonight. AK and gomez tonight, ouch, they played like ****.
Yea tonight we could have used muscle for the fights. But we won't be playing like this every time, so what's the point? Haven't we learned enough from BGL? What's for sure though, is that Bruins will from now on try to push us around and intimidate us more. We can counter it. We just need to actually help Price next time. If the fights went out of control, I'd say the refs are mostly to blame, but it ain't easy when you have up to 6 players fighting.

I'm willing to bet that Andrei Kostitsyn will be traded by trade deadline.

I'm not talking about the fighting. I'm talking about every play, the habs were having a hard time winning battles out there, and often looked scared to take the hits. It reminded me of playing philly.

Agreed. Without those two pukes this game is much closer, and that **** at the end doesn't happen.

Hold on guys, Laraque wants to explain the "fighters code" again and how fighters dont tangle with non fighters or punch when someone is on the ice. Maybe someone should explain that **** to the coward bruins?

**** like this isn't going to happen in the playoffs. Bruins fans can circle jerk to this game for the next 2 months for all I care, it will have no effect on the playoffs.

We desperately need another D.

Spacek is erratic and unpredictable. Weber and Subban are rookies. Wiz is mediocre in his own zone. And Gill is the least mobile player in the league 5 on 5.

Forget this game and GET A D-MAN. (And I don't mean a Todd Simpson type)
Voice of reason?
If you can keep your head while all around you are losing theirs.......

I'll agree, but can it be a d-man with grit, size and a mean streak who's responsible in his own end?
