Don't even know if this is the proper place for this. For starters, I despise Larry Quinn. However, I thought this was very classy of him. Charron died in October from cancer.
Goodness knows that Buffalo Sabres managing partner Larry Quinn has taken his share (and maybe more than his share) of bashing in the media and from fans. Amerk fans despise how he handled the affiliation breakup.
Well, Quinn also should be given credit for good things, too.
When the Sabres played the Bruins on Jan. 20, Quinn invited Charron’s sons, Jackson and Nicholas, to accompany the team on the charter flight to Boston. They visited both dressing rooms, watched warmups from the Sabres bench and even served some time as unofficial water boys/equipment staff helpers.
