Ryan White Called Up

No real surprise here, I expected it to happen after last nights game. Don't know how much of a difference it will make though.

Official release.

Ryan White

per Renaud Lavoie Twitter.

Guess it's a reaction to yesterday's game, even though I don't see tonight's game be nearly as agitated

He can play and throw em, just what we need, and he didn't cost anything

Hope he stays up for the rest of the year

LOVE IT! This kid needs to stay up here and finish the season with the team and in the playoffs as well.

Probably replaces Tommy Pyatt who is busy getting a face lift.

Is this a muscle tactic? I think we should stick with what we have until the deadline. Cammalleri will be back shortly. I think if Montreal is going to get toughness it will have to be through the TDL.

Besides all the fighting last night, that is what playoff hockey is going to be like. Kind of reminded me a bit of the Flyer's series last playoffs. Outmuscled a bit, but we didn't back down.

It will be like this for the playoffs everynight. I don't personally mind the call up, just don't think its going to make a big difference. Unless someone is hurt up front again?

Great, but if thats there only answer for toughness we are still in trouble. We need a couple more tough guys that can also play. Neil and Allen would be a nice start.

Ha-ha, are you serious? Last night's game was nothing like playoff hockey.

White called up?

I suppose Jacques Martin is going to tell him that his role is to make sure that what happened last night never happens again?

I feel so much better knowing that White's toughness is going to help us go through the playoffs...

A back to back game with so much emotion last night could use a fresh player in the lineup. Should of called up Engqvist as well.

Good first step, but not nearly enough.

Hopefully he replaces Pyatt.

Eller should be sent down once Cammalleri is ready to go.

White can and should take Pyatt's place in the line up on every night. I like Pyatt's heart but it only gets you so far. White will be a great addition and add some life to the team.

Now if only Gomez can pull his head out of his ass long enough to back up his talk.

I'm hoping that Eller gets sent down so he can get some more playing time. This is once Cammalleri returns.

But yeah off-topic. Ryan White won't change the dynamics of the team, but he will help... somewhat.

I would love to see Henry called up in exchange for Picard

With the makeup of our team putting Henry in instead of Weber for games against the Bruins/Flyers, etc... would do wonders
