Langenbrunner looked like a little of Rolston rubbed off on him with that pointless slap shot from distance.

Langenbrunner takes the exact same penalty again. That's a killer even if they make it to OT.

The chances of us winning this game just got a lot lower.

That Dallas cheap knock-off jersey behind Tippett is embarrassingly bad.

It's going to be rough now that we actually have to play our division.

Well, we really, really, needed this win. I can't wait until Benn gets back, maybe we can drop Neal back to another line.

Also, why can Anahiem score 3 goals on Vancouver and we get destroyed by them?

This team has serious problems, and being division leaders hasn't made it any better.

Lehtonen was very good this game, which was nice to see. If he plays like that and some of the forwards pull their heads out of their butts, they'll start picking up points again.

That loss was all on Langenbrunner and Neal, both of whom were awful. Neal provided the emotional turning point of the game when he, a guy paid to score goals, wouldn't even look at an empty net, and Langenbrunner took the penalty that ended up costing them in OT.

Neal needs to come off the first line yesterday, especially if he's playing hurt. When he recovers and starts scoring again, he can move back up.

And now we see why the Devils are doing well without Langenbrunner.

This team has always had the same issues - the defense is weak, the scorers are streaky and they don't match up well against teams with a lot of speed. Those have been there all season.

For the most part, they have capitalized on their offensive opportunities and gotten above average goaltending to make up for that. The goaltending was back tonight, but the offense left several must-bury chances off the scoreboard while Phoenix scored on virtually all of theirs.

The loser point keeps us ahead of San Jose for just a few more days. Maybe once this god-awful team loses its Pacific lead we'll start winning games again.

I thought Langenbrunner was a nice move when it happened and I felt the same after the first few games but I haven't been impressed with him at all lately. I know Ribeiro likes a right shot on his wing but I'd give someone else a shot on that line.

Vincour to Rib's line please. Langs is washed up and ****ing useless.

This team makes me sad, every team in the Pacific is getting better while we get worse.

The call on Langenbrunner was incredibly soft, particularly at that time in the game. I don't blame him at all, it was a simple stick check. I'll give you that Neal should have put it in the empty net and that would have solidified the win, mind you, there were other chances to score the goal they needed too.

The call against Langs may have been soft but that doesn't negate the fact that he's been awful. I didn't like the deal when it happened and I like it less now. Please move him down the lineup.

Vincour looked really good. Don't know about his offense but his play away from the puck was excellent and that's rare for a 21 year old kid in his first NHL game. He should stay up for a while and I wouldn't mind if he got a game on Ribs right.

Neal needs to shoot that. Don't know why he didn't even look at the net when he's standing right there.

Jamie Benn cannot get healthy fast enough. This team misses him when he's gone.

I wanted to believe a change of scenery would do him good but I was pretty skeptical. It looks like hes just done. Not completely useless but he is not a top 6 forward at all.
