JJ was huge in the OT! Unfortunately in the penguins favour.

Nah Wesgarth is better than him. Didn't you see his intimidating glares and his awesome fight?

Our lack of offense is mind blowing. The Pens could have had a piece of cardboard in net and we still wouldn't have scored. It's so embarrassing to lose against another AHL team. The Kings are lucky they got that loser point because they did not deserve it.

At least Loktionov looked good tonight.

Yup, with a healthy Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz, Cooke and Comrie this Pens teams destroys the sloth-like LA Kings.

2 missed golden opportunities by Williams and Lokti were the difference makers. Can we get an actual goal-scorer who can bury their freakin chances?

You have to remember that it might have been an "AHL" team, but they still had their number 1 goalie and all of their defenseman.

I know people are piling on Johnson for the OT gaffe, but Smyth's turnover led to Johnson being caught between two Penguins and it was easy for Dupuis to poke it away from Johnson at that point.

We're 2 pts behind Calgary with 2 games in hand.. They play tomorrow and we play back-to-back on the weekend against two great teams.. Right now the playoffs aren't looking like a possibility, to be quite honest. I just don't see it, we're not playing well enough. I hope Lombardi shakes this team up, makes a trade for someone who can have an immediate impact but I don't think it'll happen

Westgarth should never be dressed. It's such a huge burden on the team be unable to roll 4 lines effectively. Scratching Richardson is an absolute joke; at this point of the season it is ridiculous that Westgarth is in the lineup

Kopitar is pissing me off, this is the most crucial part of the season and he hasn't done sh** to get this team over the hump.

And Westgarth was great, his 2:21 of icetime really helped the team tonight.

But the Kings had their chances. The Penguins were flat footed in their defensive zone a lot of the game. Every time Doughty went to the net, everyone on the Pens just let him fly by. 99% of the time we drove to the net from the side, we got a chance on goal.

This team needs someone who can finish plays. Just too many opportunities to score that went to the wayside. Fleury did play great, but we should have scored more than one damn goal against them.

Had really good pressure with some late shifts late in the game. Simmonds was all over the ice, Handzus and Poni were crashing net effectively, but yah Poni wasn't as noticable as the other two for sure.

I'm going to disagree with you here, that was an awful pass by Stoll in the first part but to blame Smyth for a puck he never had possession of is not right. Johnson and Doughty have to play that better, Johnson cannot lose the puck there. If you have to bury the puck with your skate then you do that, and Johnson has to close that gap, he allowed too much room for Staal considering that it wasn't really a 2 on 1.

Well, the Kings did win two in a row. Murray doesn't want the team to get too much confidence. All great coaches change a winning lineup for no reason. Don't want too many winning streaks.

Murray needs to call out Kopi and Brown. Our best players need to score.

2nd and 3rd line did a good job, overall we should have killed this team so i dont think we played bad but jeez we need Kopi to get back to being our best player

For three seasons we have watched a team that cannot finish. This is getting old and tired.
