No kidding, he really had the Pens shaking in their boots with his intimidation and his elite scoring abilities!

If you have to bury the puck with your skate then you do that, and Johnson has to close that gap, he allowed too much room for Staal considering that it wasn't really a 2 on 1.
Yeah it was Stoll's no-look pass that caused the turnover (in the GDT I mistakenly said it was Smyth's pass)

Doughty was amazing in OT man, he's really getting back to form, it's nice to see that and Jack was strong all game long, except for that last shift. He's having a great year, can't put the blame on him but it's funny because if this was the 2nd period, tied 1-1, he would've just dumped that puck in, instead his stick gets caught while he's trying to make a pass back and boom, Staal grabs it, goal, game.

I hope Brayden Schenn can become a replica of Jordan Staal, that would be wish come tru

This team needs someone who can finish plays. Just too many opportunities to score that went to the wayside. Fleury did play great, but we should have scored more than one damn goal against them.
Sometimes a goalie stands on his head. Michalek saved two goals himself. The biggest thing is the team is playing offensively with their heads up their *****. Kopitar needs to start being the player that dominates every game that is played. He needs to make the players around him better and right now he's not doing that.

Can anyone predict the pathetic excuses Murray, Kopitar and Brown are going to make to Hammond?

Murray's adding of Westgarth was stupid, and I don't see why he would take out Richardson (who would have burned this Penguins team) for a guy who did absolutely nothing except for a staged goon fight that added absolutely nothing to either team's momentum.

And I really don't want to get down on Johnson because he was one of the only players who attacked the Penguins tonight.

We have no one with any creativity or ability to finish. Loktionov is the most creative offensive player we have which is sad considering he's a rookie.

DL needs to find his sack and get a ****ing scorer for our team.

Who is the coach of those three seasons? Everytime Doughty drove to the net, there were zero Kings in the slot for a rebound or pass. Same thing when Loktionov skated the puck in the zone. He has zero passing options and has to take long range shots.

Blysma coached a perfect game with his available lineup. Murray doesn't change his system, even when facing an inferior opponent.

Brown just collapses when any sort of pressure is applied to him. You can see it in his face after he blows a play in crucial parts of games. Dude just isn't a captain.

I think people would be less pissed off from this result if the next game we were playing the Islanders and Thrashers instead of the Capitals and Flyers on a back-to-back run.

We had to pick up a win against a damaged team. This is like the 5th time we've lost to a team missing their best players.

It's only a matter of time until the creativity gets sucked out of him too, I'll give him 50 games.

Don't worry guys, the Kings will just look at themselves in the mirror and be ready for the Flyers. That **** always works!

I thought the Kings pretty much controlled the entire game, we were very lucky to even get a point, let alone two.

I'll also agree that the officiating wasn't particularly great tonight. LA should have had at least two more powerplays in the third (high stick on Stoll, interference on Smyth by Letang). We haven't been getting many of those breaks this season so I'll take them we can get them, especially given all the injuries we have.

That is what is killing this team. All of those scoring opportunities, all for not, thus they become wasted opportunities. These lost points are going to mount up and by the last game of the season, these missed opportunities are going to cost the Kings a playoff spot and maybe even some jobs.

Thing is, even with all the injuries up front, the Pens have Fleury and that blueline corps might be the best in the league. Not to mention one of the top coaches. Really I know Malkin is done but if Crosby gets back and the Pens can add a winger I could see them winning the Cup for sure.

Kings could have used a speedy fourth line tonight. Too bad the Kings don't have a fast skater that can play center and wing.

Seriously, how can people defend Murray's lineup decisions and system anymore? Unless there are injuries, you don't change a winning lineup. Especially if you are taking out skill for a goon.

Especially when they don't have an enforcer. Yes Engalland fights the biggest in the league but he's not out there to fight.

Stupid move by Terry Murray tonight,
