I have this game on my pvr... and I probably wont watch it.

This game had pitfalls written all over it.

You have the common emotional letdown after a spirited slug fest, while your opponent awaits you in your home rink. I'm not saying thats what happened because I didnt watch the game, but according to what I've read, the habs were pretty listless.

I want to remember this game as the last time Gomez - Eller - Kostitsyn played on the same line

Pfft, you elitists are too refined. I'm way to lazy to bother with that. A good old beer is all I need.

Edit: had to get rid of some engrish.

I was only joking, I've never had such a drink. Beer? Hell yes, but it's not strong enough.

MaxPac has had a great game but he has never been tried on shoutout and I had my doubts about that selection.. A kid like Desharhais, who has great hands, had a good game, I thought it was the time to try him on SO.. PK is great on SO, so I had the feeling one of them would score at least one.. Ive nothing about Gionta, he is with Cammalleri our best sniper on SO.

The ones you really remember are when you're up 2-0 or something after 2 and then blow it in regulation.

On another note, AKost just cannot handle the puck. I honestly don't know what I'm seeing when he's attempting it, but it's painful.

Him and Gomez are the same magnetic pole. They repel each other crazily. One can't complete a pass to another.

Need to seperate them.

And to your point about remembering games, I agree. The only one I clearly remember that we blew in overtime with a 1 goal lead was when Obyrne scored on his own net. And that was for very obvious reasons.

If you ask me, I don't give a ****. When coaches talk to the media it's always the same crap about players giving the effort and that they like what they saw in game they lost 7-1.

To be fair, he also made some big saves to keep us in it.

When you're constantly being exposed to watered down, craptastic Molson beers, it's hard to not develop a certain tolerance.

Also Andrei refuses to pass the puck to Lars Eller. If you don't believe me, just look back at your recordings of the game and you will see what I mean.

Oh, I'm with you, hombre. Jacques Martin alone is enough to convince me that I'd rather do anything else with my time than hear what a coach has to say.

I wasn't planning on watching this one tonight, thought I'd record it and watch it when I was in the mood. Decided to watch it anyway, and yeah I wasted a night. Just didn't get any sense of urgency, especially after the back to back losses. We'll be in tough against TO, would've been nice to go into that game with a win to work with, instead of 3 straight loses.

I might go the RDS Express route for the next game or two. At least it's only an hour. Is it always 11:30pm, and every game night?

Every time he's been demoted to the second line with Gomez it's like he completely lose all of his skills. K need to be playing with hard worker, that's why it worked well early in the season with Plek, why he doesn't look too out of place when playing with the 3rd and 4th line. He feed on the energy of players around him. Gomez is somewhat that kind of player too, those two together are probably the worse combination you can make with the habs. And oh boy did it reflected on Eller's game, the kid looked lost on the ice.
The same thing happens to every player.

Not going to lie, I actually fell asleep at many points in the game, including the shoot-out.

But what I did see, I noticed one thing in particular. Every time the puck was on Gomez's stick, it turned into a giveaway.

As much as I like Picard, it's absolutely disgusting when a pairing of him and a rookie (Weber) are the best defenseman on the team in any given game.

Hamrlik had an off night. Just wasn't very good. Wiz was not good. Spacek looked like he was playing on the wrong side again. And Subban was atrocious - and if not for the likes of Scott Gomez, he may have been the worst player on the ice.

Scott Gomez needs to go. He quite possibly hurts his team more than any other player in the league. At this point, i think George Parros would be more useful.

Auld was solid. Not much more you can ask out of a backup goalie who rarely gets to play.

Desharnais, Plekanec, White, and Pacioretty were the best players on the ice for our team.
