Oh no i meant by losing meaning aren't gaining ground in the standings at a pace you might expect. Oh i know we are gonna get screwed sometime by the injury bug!! When Claude took that shot off him last night, im sure every fan was like oh nooooooooooooooooo. All we can do is pray.

My bad, mis-read that.

As for that, that's how the standings roll. Only thing you can do is keep winning. Flyers have the advantage right now. Injury that breaks up the chemistry would be horrible now.

Maybe it's been posted already, but I don't feel like sifting through the whole thread... does anyone have a video clip of Giroux obliterating LaRose at the end of the period?

I like that we are winning these tight close games

Z was benched again, but JVR seemed to be benched too in the 3rd, or am i imagineing things ??

Leino has more turnovers in the last 2 games than Z has in the last month, but Z gets benched again. I know Ville brings more to the game, but his lazy little moves instead of dump ins are real dangerous and I wish Lavy would sit him for a period to let him know that ain't acceptable.

I would like to keep him, but I think it is time to trade Z. Lavy hates him and refuses to give him any PP time and benches him every second game, so time to cut bait.

Leino brings so much more to the table than Zherdev. I watched Zherdev on purpose a few times last night and he just won't go into the corners. I don't know about trading him at this point, I don't really think we'd get much for him.

Was one of Z's worst games and the benching was warranted, but others need a mesage sent to curb some lazy tendencies. I think Zherdev brings something to this line-up, but if Lavy refuses to give him playing time and we have to double shift others, get rid of him. And replacing him with Shelley is not the answer

Why Trade Zherdev? Honestly we need a guy like that when we do get a serious injury. He isn't that bad and is still a plus player although everyone is except Carcillo. Theres just no point trading a goal scorer who is part of our depth. He hasn't played all that bad for the past month actually. Its not like nodl is doing anything great lately or Powe. That line with Powe, JVR and was it nodl?? wasn't doing all that much once inside the offensive zone.

I agree 100%, but it is obvious Lavy does not share our opinion. If we are not going to use him, get someone else !!

Lavy doesnt like lazyness or players that dont seem to be trying hard. It doesnt matter about skill.

Now I only wish Coburn would do that to more people, other than just an undersized Rookie. He should have the size and strength to fling people around at will.
If he did that on a regular basis, he would ascend to the next level as a player

Another solid outing for Boosh. Briere should teach some of these guys how to get that puck wedged upstairs in close. I was actually a little impressed with Nodl in the 2nd and 3rd... I missed the entire 1st. Hartnell's lob pass in the 3rd was something to behold.

Coming off the layoff, I'll enjoy the 2 points despite a so-so effort.

When angry about how much of a POS Cooke is I like to re watch this video:

The funniest thing is, he is such a spot picker that he probably thought Kane would be an easy fight for him.

Wrong

Think Robyn Regher with the skating of Bouwmeester.

That shift by Coburn was fantastic. He needs to play like that more often.
