If the Kings miss the playoffs AT LEAST...

Complete the sentence on your own. This could be a fun exercise, no?

I'll start with..

AT LEAST.. Kevin Westgarth got some VALUABLE NHL experience in continuing his development to be a top power forward in the league someday.

Not if your wife spends the playoff ticket budget on her team.

- Terry Murray is fired
- Trevor Lewis proved himself to be a solid bottom 6 player
- Handzus comes off the books
- Schenn will be ready

Ohh why did you say that? You are right. She will buy club level seats and every tee shirt they sell.

... DL realized that you can't rely on roster progression and Band-Aids and finally changed his philosophy.

The coaching staff gets canned and kids like Schenn, Lokti, Moller and Voinov make the line-up next season. We aren't going to get anyone is such a barren UFA pool so best to roll with the kids and get fresh coaches.

.....we're used to it.

In reality, hopefully AT LEAST we'll get a change in philosophy in some form. Preferably a new coaching staff.

We can send down Loktionov,Martinez,Bernier and Clifford to Manchester and hope for a Calder Cup title! Plus having been scared to pull of a big deal we will probably have our 1st rd pick in 2011 and can draft yet another dman who is about 5 yrs away from playing in the NHL. Watchout in 2015-16 NHL the Kings are gonna be Stacked!!!!!!!!!!

I think Lokti gets sent down before the end of the Kings season, whenever that is. Also, Bernier is now an NHL goalie. They wouldn't send him down to play in the playoffs. It's the wrong message to Bernier (who is done w/ the AHL) and the goalies down there that are leading the Monarchs to an amazing season, especially Jones.

...hopefully the team will realize what it takes to make the playoffs and what NOT to do to make them.
