I will open more carefully next time I watch him play.... the only time I tought he was maybe a warrior, he got a fight at the end of the game after the crowd boohed him all night long... but be sure players of the other teams are not afraid to sit in front of the net when Rivet is the man standing there.
Are they afraid of Bouillon? or Markhov? Brisebois? or even Souray with his damaged wrist?
D. calling me Yoda has more to do with looks than wisdom, I fear. Good points on how we get influenced about a player's place on the team or in the room. I find myself getting annoyed by biase when watching the game, but the biase depends on which channel I'm watching. I remember my nephew thought Roy's first name was 'aucune chance pour' because they said it after every goal.
Remember our old friend Turner Stevenson ? The media used him as a poster boy for the slow westerner stereotype. I remember guys like Brunet and [I think ] Brisebois calling him one of the real leaders on the team, much to the chagrin of whoever was interviewing them. I like BG's point about the real weakness of some of these players is that they don't exactly play beside hof'ers. Good supporting role guys need top end players to support.
