Yup. One would think some would figure out it's a talent problem. Not like this has been going on for 11 years or anything.

All this "fire Torts" talk is just dumb. The team just isn't that talented. It's amazing they've been decent up until this skid. When we win again everyone will talk about how great our youngsters are and how Torts is doing a great job bringing them along.

Yes, this skid is very frustrating, but the bipolarity of this fan base is incredibly vexing.

That was three years ago.

Aside from people saying he's our future PP QB, I have never heard anybody compare Del Zotto to Leetch, except that Leetch was equally as bad as Del Zotto was in his second season...at least from a defensive standpoint

I love how we make fun of wraparounds when we would have never won the Cup without them!

At a minimum, he should have had either Staal or Girardi double shifted. Nervous Nancy's like MDZ and Gilroy are the last guys you want on the ice late in a close game
Right, and it would be one thing if they had a solid game, but MDZ was hot and cold at best, and Gilroy was a travesty....

Lets combine ****** play, with a lack of confidence, and hope they stop the frntic enemy attack down the stretch

Just got home from work, what did MDZ do? Giveaway that lead to goal when we had 2-1 lead? I only get scoring updates on phone, so didn't get a chance to watch yet.

Center Dubinsky with Gaborik, Christensen is useless.

tonigh Prospals line played better and Torts really wants too get 'em going, so more ice time on them.

The problem with this team is that for a long time now they're not good enough to win anything and not bad enough to draft in the money area. They should trade everyone with talent so that they can finally be bad enough to improve. I'd be more than wiling to sit through a couple of Islander-like seasons to end this constant crap. While you're at it, get rid of Sather so that the top 5 picks we'd get wouldn't be wasted on more Jessimans. As long as the Rangers are stuck in the middle like this, this is what they'll be, pretty much forever.

I agree and disagree at the same time...

While I agree that the lack of skill which is hurting us is in now way Torts fault, at some point the coach needs to recognize what he's got and adjust.

Were right back where we were with Renney trying to pound square pegs through round holes

there is so much redundancy in this lineup. We're chock full of third line talent. Christensen is a waste of space out there.
