I've been lusting after the style of jersey you have for Murry. If I could find a jersey with the new logo and a lace neck I'd be a happy man.

Not the third jersey the regular logo.

I asked my rep about this, and the reason you cannot use the discount is that the game worn stuff benefits the jackets foundation, so they like to max what they can get for them. Of course, if it sits, they'll end up dropping it down eventually. They have a bunch now that are cheaper than retail replicas (customized)

What do you mean by the last part? The one you're talking about is the old third. They didn't have any other laced style until the new third.

Here is what I picked up tonight, Jiri Novotny 2009 Playoff Jersey (set 3). The Jersey was only used for pre game warm ups but for $140 I could not pass up a jersey from the first playoff games. Even with this jersey only being used for warm ups it has a nice red paint mark on the back, you can kind of see it to the left of the top of the 1.

Couple of questions were set 3 only used for the two playoff games in Detroit? Also anyone have any photos of pregame warm ups from this game with Novotny in them? I tried google but have not had any luck.

Nice Novotny! Last of the acceptable playoff jerseys sold! Unless there's a Gratton or Backman fan :^)

They were both Edge 2.0 (mine is a 1.0) but I could not bring myself to buy a Backman jersey. They do also still have a Rome game issued.

Also notice last night that they now have a sheet of team issued jerseys and I think the price was $185 on a lot of them. I did not look at what a lot of them were but some were display jerseys.

I never knew Murray wore 23. I thought he only wore 51 and 17. Interesting!

For that game only, every player on the ice wore #23 in warm-ups as a tribute to Gainey.

They retired the number 23 that night. So all the players used a number 23 jersey during pregame warm ups.

Yeah, I get it now. I looked up some photos and found one with many then current habs in 23 and it sort of clicked :^) That's a very neat jersey with a great story!

I tend to like the unusual, plus it's a nice RBK 6100 version of their best jersey to date. it's been pointed out to me that the neck tag is unusual, but not unheard of, so that's another little mystery I'd love to learn more about. The provenance is perfect so I don't doubt it's authenticity, but I'd like to know the story nonetheless. :^)
Didn't know they played hockey back then

Real nice Sanderson original 3rd on Ebay right now. If I did not just buy the Novotny jersey I would be all over this one.

That's just cruel, Palinka, you know that he was still developing his game in the 9th Century and was several hundred years from reaching his prime.

I saw a Hejda Jersey on ebay a while back from his days with CSKA Moscow (I think). I wanted it desperately, but I was in college and couldn't afford it. Hejda's my favorite

It was something like this, I think

That is Hejda's CSKA Game Worn Jersey. I know the guy selling it on Ebay - do you want his information?

My wife says I have too many (I guess about 25) - - My favorites are:

Nash Atlanta All Star Hat-trick game worn and signed (and I was there)

Umberger - game worn when he scored the first CBJ Playoff goal

John Mirasty pre-season / game worn (blue) - - I still can't believe these things sell for just $200.

Brassard's playoff issued white (never worn - but issued)

Wow! I'm a collector of neither autographs nor jerseys, but the Nash and RJ items are CBJ history!

Ok, here is everything - - looking at them all, my favorites are probably Umberger, Nash All Star Atlanta, Jason Williams, and it just feels cool to wear a Rangers Jersey with the Statue of Liberty on it - although with a Canadian's name on it...???)

Umberger first ever CBJ Playoff goal scored wearing it (I was at the Joe too)
Nash Atlanta All Start Game Hat-trick (I was at the game)
Authentic Odelein Blue (first season)
Authentic Odelein White (first season)
Hrdina (Jersey off their back)
Sestito (Jersey off their back)
Jason Williams white game worn (Dads will understand – my oldest daughter’s favorite player)
Brassard – White playoff issued
Mirasty – Blue pre-season game worn
Boll – white game worn
Nash – the old 3rd Jersey autographed by the team (back when they had the deal where you walk around in club level getting autographs)
Nash Authentic London Knights (A)
Nash Team Canada 2010 White
Nash Team Canada Red
Nash first All Star Game Green (some special edition I guess…numbered 2 of 61) – maybe Authentic
Boll Green Whalers Authentic
Keith Tkachuk Authentic Team USA Jersey
Zherdev Russia jersey
Cleveland Lumberjacks Authentic Jersey
Cincinnati Cyclones Authentic Jersey
Gretzky Authentic Orange All Star Jersey
Messier Blue Rangers (c) Authentic SOL
Gretzky White Rangers Authentic SOL
Shelley Game Worn Rangers (signed)
Shelley Blue CBJ Jersey (just off the rack I think)

Very nice collection gocbj.

Is the Sestito (Jersey off their back) the new 3rd? If so could you post a photo of the team set tag?
