As mentioned in an unrelated post yesterday, Brett Lebda is by far the worst NHL defenceman I have ever seen play in person. One assist so far, -16 with very little icetime. At least MAB has a booming shot and scores.Lebda makes Patrick Traverse look like Larry Robinson. During the time he was insulated in Detroit, I saw him play at least 6 times. Small, weak, poor vision,no shot. He doesn't hit, doesn't score.

The Habs should be able to really attack that pair and force Wilson to go to 4 dmen.

I have a feeling the Habs will win 5-2.
I cant believe Wilson plays him over Gunnarson o well atleast he limits them to 8 mins a game.

Will be a great game always look forward to Habs vs. Leafs

We need to win this one. If we can't take advantage of that Lebda - Komisarek pairing, well, actually, I don't see how we can't take advantage of that Lebda - Komisarek pairing.

JM seems determined to keep the Gomez line together I really, really wish he'd break them up, and go with:

Patches --- Pleks --- Gionta

Pouliot -- Desharnais --- White

Halpern --- Eller --- Kostitsyn

Pyatt --- Gomez --- Moen

Should be our line-up. Eller was playing much better at centre than he is at wing. Gomez needs to start working so put him on the 4th line with our workers.

That would make a lot of sense, especially considering how AK and Gomez just do not click.

Tonight is a HUGE game, can't stress that enough. They can tie the Caps in points with a win, and move 1 point back of the B's who play Detroit in Detroit tomorrow afternoon. Despite the losses this week, 1st in Northeast is far from decided.

If they have a bad 1st period again, it would be hard to argue that JM is not failing at having them prepared and ready to go. That's his job, and that responsibility falls heavily on him because of how much he stresses preparation and compete level.

IMPORTANT

If you see a poster that is either disrespectful, rude, or just downright trolling, PLEASE HIT THE REPORT BUTTON (little triangle with exclamation point)! Leafs/Habs games are always hectic so your help is greatly appreciated.

If the Habs are the winning team, I'm down with that.

Ryan White looks like a foot soldier from the Canadian UN forces during his interview on RDS, something like : "sir yes sir", were his answers.
