Yeah heard that, hilarious. Seriously, thought Preds would be a lock to win this game, gotta get it done. Mike Fisher with the GWG??

HEY CODY!

(Unless it was tipped, of course, in which case, it's just "Hi, Cody.")

Weak clearing attempt. Big goal, throw it at the net, now shut it down.

Needed the points just to stay afloat tonight, but feel bad for Budaj, who really worked his ass off.

I thought maybe Leggy picked it up to give it to Fisher. But I notice he handed it to Franson.

Fisher played a good game I thought. 12 -4 faceoffs. I saw a nice hit. Screening on Shea's goal. I was surprised Trotz had him out to try to lock it down at the end, thought players familiar with each other should be there, but Fisher helped get it done.

Franson got more on his shot than I expected with such a short stroke. Nice.

I think that is a good move by Trotz, he showed him right away that he is fully in trust with him, and that is just give him more boost and confidence.

Fisher had a pretty good game. He's good in front of the net, I'm surprised Trotz didn't have him out on the powerplay.

He was great on face-offs too which is quite strange.

Best of luck to you. He's a great guy.

Great win! Congrats! Noticed Dumont with just over 5 minutes ice time? And some of that was PP? Wow! Again, your coach makes me wonder, yet he wins games?

Great game to go to tonight. Loved the atmosphere of the crowd and most of all loved Fisher's game play tonight. I've watched him with the Senators and couldn't be any happier that he is on our team.

Dumont used to be a good player, but he aged five years in less than six months and doesn't really have much left these days. That's why he gets so little ice time.

Funny, the 5 goals tonight gives us 150 goals, one goal behind Washington.

Saw Dumont at least twice on the back door, wide open, just waiting for a rebound or 6-8 foot flip pass that never came from the opposite side of the net. Positionally sound, just no puck to tap in.

Seems as if the SenaPred alliance is starting earlier this year.

awesome atmosphere tonight.

fisher looked good. pekka, a little shaky.

would be interesting to see wilson with fisher.

jp was rocking with mueller(when he was here) and halischuk............not so much anymore..

forsberg still has mad skills, but looked tired.

sully looked a little rusty also.

didn't hear all of trotz on the post game radio.........he was saying something about people having to put their egos aside when everyone was healthy?? (sully and jp, you think?)

I thought Wilson had a weak game. He still looks like a rookie out there at times. Giveaways, bad decisions with the puck, trying to do too much. He needs to simplify his game IMO.

Even though Leggy wasn't one of the 3 stars, I thought he was our best forward tonight (maybe after Erat).

Hell of a 1st game for Fisher
