Replacing Darche with White would be a sizeable downgrade, how is that a good thing? There are 2-3 others in the lineup that would get replaced before Darche and White is an upgrade on maybe one of them.

I see White as an upgrade to Pyatt, simple as that. When Cammalleri returns, Pyatt will return to the press box/AHL/other team...

And you were right about Darche making 500K and not being the same thing as Clarkson or Neil making 2M+. Good point!

To think that Habs fans were claiming on the main boards that we'd be a lot better this year than last year because last year we had a lot of injuries... This season is shaping up to be worse.

im not talking about talent. we sure missing cammalleri, but i feel Darche is a great depth player

???

Even if he is a great depth player, you are talking about our top winger!

That is upside down thinking.

Depth players have value, but they are the easiest to replace.

I look forward to White attempting to fill that role.

NOT our top winger. Best sniper, but 100% useless unless he's shooting the puck.

So I guess there're no news on Gill? Just that he's not playing again?

Hope it's a day to day thing FFS.

I am assuming that he aggravated the sore ribs that he is playing with.

Perhaps that was it because apparently he left the rink and his arm wasn't in a sling or anything. And he seemed comfortable. This according to Brian Wilde's (CTV Montreal guy) twitter post last night

It's not the ribs, Joel Bouchard said that he said he had no strength in his left hand whatsoever. Could be just a bruise and he could play next game (hoping...)

Pacioretty upon leaving the building tonight did not have his arm in a sling, did not seem to have pain and looked comfortable.
Looks like he's fine.

I say bruised hand, if you look at Schenn's hit, his hand was in a bad position and took the biggest part of it.

So nothing on MaxPac; guess he's OK. Gill didn't skate today. Darche did, but wasn't on a line.
