1st line was good.
2nd line was our best.
3rd line was good besides Brown. Loktionov was explosive when given the chance.
4th line was meh.
Quick came up big. We kinda just turtled in the final 10 minutes, but whatever. Get two points against the best team in the east in their arena and leave.
Poni played a helluva game and deserves a little credit
Nice! Best win of the year and the preponderance of the posts are whining about Brown. Gotta love this place!
Fantastic win today. The only thing better than beating the Flyers is beating the Flyers with Chris Pronger. A whining, crying, can't ever take a hit without becoming enraged, Chris Pronger.
Great, gutsy win. Glad the team got two here when I would have been happy with one; shocked and happy that they were able to dig down and grind it out when they started getting behind the 8-ball with penalties and fatigue. Remember, second game of a back-to-back...I'm proud and impressed!
Hopefully, it's a confidence-builder.
And nice to see Pronger enjoy some karma. Dude still plays by the 2000 rulebook.
So how much of a whine fest is the Flyer board right now? They have a sick sense of entitlement over there, as if being first in the East is a huge accomplishment.
He is now 4-0 when facing 40 or more shots on goal this season. Gamer!

That's a little overdramatic given that they were all tired today, but it's not as big of a deal when you're snake-bit/underachieving forward isn't on the 1st line (let us all rejoice that Murray saw the light there).

gotta be one of Quick's bests of the year....he came up big more than a few times and looked solid. nice to see Doughty get the goal/game winner...love the celebration (quiet Flyer fans and the scream). I'd also agree Poni looked good (A+ checking game)...it'd be nice to see him get some goals. Lokti looks great as a center....his game is way elevated in that position.
Just watched the Pronger hit a couple of times and yes it looked like it should be a 2 min pen, but Pronger knew what was coming because he turned his head and saw Stoll coming at him as he was looking for a penalty . He saw him turned and positioned himself a couple of feet away from the board and just waited for the hit. That is why I believe the ref did not call it since he was right there. but on the other hand those refs where mostly blind...so?
but SOMEONE have to be moved from LA when sturm comes back, right?
Yes, someone has to waived to make room. Martinez and Loktionov are the only ones waiver exempt, but the Kings need Loktionov's skill in the lineup at center.
I don't care if the Kings lose Harrold or Westgarth to waivers. Any injuries to the defense will get a call up for Voynov anyways.
