Great win for the Kings, too bad it was against my team. Quick stole the show, and the PK snuffed us out.

Now back to only wishing good things for the Kings.

You had to be at least sort-of OK with it given you're a closet Kings fan.

Prongers reaction to the hit. It's kind of funny that Stoll told him he was coming before he made the hit.

I'm gonna give some props here to TM for the selection of games the goalies played in yesterday and today. He goes with Bernier against a team in Washington that arguably plays a more skill-type game than the Flyers, and Bernier's quickness and positioning paid off.

He goes with Quick against the Flyers, a team that loves to take the puck down low and just brute force it into the net, and Quick was STRONG all day. Nice going Terry.

I don't necessarily leave the building pissed off, but I do pay to see the Flyers win. When the Kings come I still wear a Kings hat with my Flyers jersey though.

This.

I said before this little 3 game stretch(PIT, WSH and PHI) that I would be happy with 2 points. I didn't think in my wildest dreams that they would go 2-0-1.

Im actually not that suprised they have been playing so well, it seems like the last couple of years the kings have put together a great record on long road trips. Hopefully it will continue. Who's left? Columbus, anahiem, who else?

JMFQ!...?! I would get that on a shirt. Quick stole the 2 pts, he has been looking like the Quick from last year. Keep it up!

Kings need to start making a habit beating the Flyers - I like it. And I work with a Philly guy -we'll talk tomorrow...

Hey guys, Flyer fan here

Congrats on the win

A few thoughts:
- Quick was amazing
- Doughty had a strong game
- Kopitar was boss
- It was an all around great team win for you guys

(I just saw the Western standings and MAN is it tight )

Anyways great game and good luck with the rest of the season.

jack played very well defensively in the first 2 periods ,looked like he won almost every battle for the puck in our end and since no one mentioned it here yet clifford kicked carcillo's ass pretty good and westgarth did well agaist a pretty tough vet, both fights kept the mo going in the right direction

for the record I posted this at about 3 pm after the game must have been in a time warp

****ing SHUTOUT!!! WOOO!!!! (Just finished watching the game after getting home). What a game! I am so stoked!

Clifford is a BEAST. Our goalies are cash money. Doughty was stellar, Kopitar was on his game, the veterans stood up in a big way, and the rookies are taking a step forward. So happy, I may hit the casinos tonight GO KINGS!

I just finished watching the game. All I can say is WOW. I can't believe we won 1-0. After we scored I said to my husband "we need another goal. There's no way we win 1-0." I guess the Kings proved me wrong.

Kopi had a HUGE game physically.

Doughty played great, playing the body many times rather than the puck. And of course his goal was awesome.

Quick was huge. How amazing have both our goalies been the last handful of games! WOW, great game by him. I knew when he was getting lucky on a few plays in the beginning of the 1st he would be on his game. It felt very much like the Detroit game where he had 52 saves.

I love Lokti at center. We're finally seeing the player he can be. He's everywhere on the ice and was even playing the body.

Brown was terrible. The worst player out there IMO. I'm not one to really bag on him, but I was focusing on him in today's game because everyone has been calling him out. He deserves to be called out. He took terrible penalties, had several turnovers, etc.

As did Lewis. He was a HUGE reason we killed all of those penalties.

I figured this was going to be the toughest, and mostly likely the game we'd lose considering how good the Flyers are. Glad I was wrong and the boys stepped up and got a solid win.

And watching Pronger meltdown in the penalty box was priceless. He's given out that hit himself plenty of times and gotten away with it, and today it was on the other foot.
