I think Martinek is for sure a goner(assuming he doesn't get injured), while Konopka probably is also getting a few inquiries(but I am guessing he resigns)

They were there drooling over stafford and his greatness LOL,seriuosly though he is now untouchable if you ask me!

Parenteau is an UFA this offseason so he could be a deadline deal that may be getting some looks.

Still not sure how a Grand Island baseball coach/substitute teacher who's claim to fame is pal-ing around with Jay McKee years ago is supposed to be an "insider" is beyond me.

Forgot about him, but unless a team is really weak on wings or needs a boost to the PP I wouldn't touch him

Buffalo often has scouts from other teams in attendance. THN talked about touching base with pro scouts there in an article years ago much like THN used it as a place for their staff to go for games. I recall Toronto having most of their front office there one night in the Aud where they were meeting with Holland and some of the Wings staff. No one they moved was involved in the game, nor were either team.

I remember that Chain.
They mentioned Buffalo's proximity to Toronto and the league offices and how low keyed it was there. Good place to do business if I remember correctly.

I know it's Eklund..but it's kind of ironic that he reported the Sabres were interested in Brandon Yip this evening.

Wait... You're telling me that scouts are at games in bunches right now less then 3 weeks away from the deadline?!? Seriously people are reading wayyy too much into scouts being at games right now. It'd be different if this was earlier in the season but right now teams are gathering info on a ton of players who may be available. Most of these won't mean a thing.
