Umm, the Leafs have had "better goalies" than the Flyers and yet you have gone even longer than us without a cup. You really are pretty funny with your homer glasses.

While I agree with the broad idea that having terrible goalies loses championships, you haven't proposed a deal that solves that problem.

That's very presumptuous of you. How did you come to all those conclusions based on a two-word username?

Who, in the right minds, would ever want to jump on the Leafs bandwagon?

Well I don't really need to insult you, you've done a pretty good job of showing everybody your limited mental capacity, but being the philanthropist that I am I will once again try to educate you - so pay close attention.

As of today Philly has just over 1 million dollars of cap space, therefore they can add a contract of 3.659 million dollars (pro-rated of coarse) and still be cap compliant. At the deadline, they will still only have 1 million dollars in cap space which will allow them to add just over a 4 million dollar contract without shipping any money out. So they can not add Versteegs 3 million, and Giggy's 6 million dollar contracts.

If this is still too complex for you to figure out there are some good games you can probably figure out at www.fisherprice.com - my children love them

This, and for anyone else who is unaware of how the cap works around this time, i suggest going to the Cap Geek website.

Their trade machine is very useful when making proposals cap compliant.

I think a Leaf fan long ago did something so unspeakably evil that all Leafs fans must suffer with a terrible team, along with constant ridicule and being embarrassed by supposed Leaf fans posting terrible proposals, until the end of time.

a $6 million insurance policy?

Where does the $5 million in cap space the flyers need to clear to make this deal happen go? Who from the roster gets traded for picks and prospects to make it work?

So you are telling me you think that Philly gets better by adding a marginally better Versteg over JVR, and a third string goalie here in Philly, all while having to part ways with a Jeff Carter or Scott Hartnell + got draft picks and prospects to win the cup this year?

What the hell have you been smoking?

There should be new rules about who can post proposals, this is getting ridiculous.

This proposal ins't thought out, doesnt take into account the salary cap, or the fact that Philly isnt looking to get better in the top 6, but better by adding a solid vet to play the wing.

Give your head a shake you moron.

Give up mothertucker16. You're still wrong and you're making me feel dirty by feeling sorry for the other leafs fans.

I suggest you find a drawing board and start doodling with the other kindergarteners.
