Damn they must really not want Nathan Paetsch's current losing atmosphere in our locker room

This was getting ridiculous when Hamhuis got hurt, it's now just hilarious.

At this point, I'm just glad Salo is still okay. Iron-man streak!

When I heard that on the TEAM, I can't help but lol'd. From ECHL straight to NHL. Baptism by fire!

Haha, I called the fact that it would be Sauve in the Moose thread. On a more serious note:

well...that's neat.

lol. this is getting absurd.

had assumed Sauve would be next up...makes the most sense at this point. but still pretty ridiculous. hopefully Sauve can keep it safe and simple and replace a bit of Alberts physical play.

this stretch is going to really test the team's mental toughness through adversity.

he's been playing with the Moose in the AHL for a good while now...only played a short stint in the ECHL to begin with while recovering from that offseason concussion.

is there any salary cap reason why ryan parent didn't get the call-up again?

it can't be that the canucks are afraid to lose him on re-entry waivers if they peg him at around 12-13 on the organizational depth chart

It is. He would've been called up long time ago if they weren't worried about him getting claimed and them having to pay 1/2 his salary + cap hit.

Oh alright. I guess I misheard the radio. The Team said he was in the ECHL.

I believe he has been placed on LTIR so he's gone for 4+ weeks regardless. I'd guess it depends on the break, but Datsyuk came back 6 weeks after breaking his wrist. Grabovski is out that long as well IIRC.

Seeing Rome on our top pairing is all of sad, horrifying, and hilarious.

Do you remember a couple of weeks ago when some people were hoping for an injury to the D so Salo could get back in the lineup?

Clearly we're cursed on D, bring in Phillips as insurance because all of our current guys are never going to be healthy all at the same time.

Phillips
Neil

for

Schroeder
2nd 2011
Tambellini

Let's make a run in the playoffs

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Raymond-Kesler-Sammy
Hansen-Malhotra-Neil
Torres-Hodgson-Glass

Edler-Ehrhoff
Phillips-Hamhuis
Bieksa-Ballard
Salo
Alberts
Rome
