Not a chance to either deal. We're not getting that 1st back. Ever. Let it go. That value is not even close for Brayden Schenn either. Hanson has no real value so tossing him in isn't going to sway anyone.
Forget the "omgz Schenn needs to come to Toronto!"; the funny part is We're trading Schenn, 5th overall pick who's stock has only risen since his draft year, for the 28th-30th pick and pieces in which would only play if ATLEAST TWO of our current roster players(excluding already existing injuries) got injured.
I don't know how many times it has to be said really. The Leafs have NO assets to trade for Schenn.
I find this very stupid.. Sure they have the assests.. But they just don't wanna trade such assests... It would be like taking one step forward and two steps back..... Probably wouldn't make much sense..
