With any brief slump potentially providing the difference between a shot at Lord Stanley and a spring of improving golf handicaps, and with the Predators and Sharks currently separated by just one point in the standings, the winner of Tuesday's matchup could reap enormous dividends come April.

With a win here we'd be within five points of second. The top three spots are division leaders, so we'll need to pass Detroit to go beyond fourth.

Winning two of three and those two coming from SJ/PHX is ideal, but I have such a hard to losing to Vancouver. I guess I'll just have to not be selfish this one time (but if we lose to either SJ or PHX we better stomp VAN)

gotta hope ths run by a few teams will end soon. we have maintained while flip flopping performances. What we need now is for Colorado to have some pride about themselves and play minny and calgary a bit tougher. The Pacific are gonna slug it out. gotta hope for 2 point games and one team to fall off soon. And we need Columbus and STL to play well another 2 weeks and then turn back into punching bags.
SK is always one of the last players off of the ice. Same thing in warm-ups, he isn't in the "doghouse". Belak sucks and is a perma-scratch, JP is the only occupant of the "doghouse".
