Francis Wathier recalled (4th reassign - 2/15)

First reassign - December 7th

Wathier, 25, has played in 23 games for Texas so far this season, ranking second on the team in goals (eight) and tied for third in points (11). In 2009-10, he recorded 40 points (19g, 21a) in 76 games with Texas and helped the Stars reach the Calder Cup Finals in the club’s inaugural season. Wathier also ranked second on the club in penalty minutes during the regular season (101).

Second reassign - January 25th

Third reassign - February 12th

Wathier, 26, has appeared in one game for Dallas this season (Jan. 21 at Calgary). He has played in 44 AHL games for Texas this season, recording 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists). Wathier represented Texas at the AHL All-Star Game this past Monday in Hershey, Penn. He led the Western Conference with two goals and a +2 rating in the contest. The 6-3, 208-pound winger was Dallas’ sixth round selection (185th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

Do you really think Dorsett will want to engage in a fight after his beat down against Kaleta, of all people? He might be wise to lay low for a few games, but then again, no one has ever accused Dorsett of being wise.*

Hopefully he gets into a game, he was impressive in his short stint last season and did pretty much everything you want to see out of a 4th line banger.

Probably some legal mumbo jumbo requiring a certain number of players to be on the roster at any time. Since Peterson was in the AHL they needed a body on the list, maybe.
