Franson on the PP!!!!

Looked like an assist from Sullivan and Leggy

Does the TV feed seem a bit off? Feels more like a movie than a sporting event.

There is a feed here http://worldissuestruth.blogspot.com/ a little better than the one I posted earlier still a little choppy at times. Good first would have been great if Marty could hit the open net.

I hope we don't make anymore trades this season. I have a good feeling about our team here.

Heartbreaker on that post Erat hit. SK had a freakin' outstanding pass there. Niemi was completely fooled.

Solid first period. We came out hard, drew a penalty, and scored on it. Should've had two at the end. A few gaffes, but nothing that can't be tightened up. No more penalties! Go Preds!

Martin, how would you respond to people who say you miss a lot of empty nets?

Big time, at this point I'd rather have Smithson/Spaling with the breakaway.

I'm going with Smithson. When he tries to dangle, he's actually not bad at it. That might be because nobody expects him to do that, but I'm always surprised when he tries.

Setoguchi made Suter look like a road cone on that play. Just a great play, not much you can do to stop that.

Good game so far, really end-to-end. Some pretty solid chances on that power play.
