Overall terrible game by most of the forwards. Wilson and Goc with horrible turnovers, no one getting the puck deep. Just a bad all around game by the forward group, even the new guy Fisher didn't look good.

Let me add that Sulzer's play after the turnover was awful.

This team is a damn joke. Rinne shouild beat the snot out of every skater. San Jose came into our house and just beat the living crap out of us. Someone better figure out how to freaking finish a chance or we not only won't win a playoff series we won't even get to the playoffs

really sucks seeing svatos used the same way dumont has been used the entire year. idk how you can expect either one of them to produce when they get no ice time and play with smithson and spaling?

After the first 5 minutes, we played like absolute crap. We are just matched up horribly against the Sharks. But what's worst, we were just gliding all over the ice. Totally outworked, which is disappointing. Where was the desperation? We're only 2 pts from being on the outside looking in!

SOB - That's pretty much what he looked like. Seems the old Vancouver SOB is back with stupid penalties.

Legwand - Not effective at all, and he wasn't even matched against the Jumbo line. He was slow and pedestrian.

Wilson - Not 100% sure he's ready for NHL competition. He's too much of a liability. The play was consistently in our zone when he was on the ice.

Erat - Can't finish.

Finish a chance? I'd settle for someone that could get the puck deep.

Seriously? You didn't even watch the game. Legwand was the only forward that could carry the puck more than 5 feet, well he and SK.

If you want to call out some forwards, Hornqvist and Sullivan should top it off.

Yea Leggy didnt have a bad game in my eyes. But overall we sucked. This game is the exact reason why we need a finisher. If SJ,Van is our match up in the playoffs ( if we make the playoffs ) were 100% finished.

I agree. Hornqvist was bad. Sully had been bad ever since he came back. Personally, I think he's about done. But Legwand centers Sully and Horny......

Apparently you are not sure of a wingers responsibility in the D zone. His man is the point man. He absolutely took care of that, other than the one play, but tell me one forward that got the puck out with every attempt.as well as supporting along the D zone boards. Also VERY effective plays out of the D zone. Not sure why you would single him out on that line tonight.
Erat misses and you are immediately on him. Lots of missed shots tonight by all players.
Legwand played GREAT last game. Not as effective this game.
Did Hornqvist play tonight? Other than the screen on the goalie, can't remember much out of him?
Also, Kostytsin an unusually weaker game. Great pass to Erat, but not great along the boards to keep the O zone.
It was a tough third period for the Preds, Pekka was great! Hey, you got a point

Horrible game to go to. That OT goal by Marleau was like a dagger. Peks with an outstanding game. On to the Canucks game.

I'm disappointed but I'm gonna choose the optimistic view. Considering after the first 10 minutes the ice was severely tilted and the fact we screwed up all our glorious chances and the fact we made our PK and Rinne save the day again; we were lucky as hell to get the point.

Considering what was on the line that was not anywhere as intense at it should have been, for either team.

Also want to say whether you play Dumont or Svatos either one should be on Goc's line. Put Ward back with Smithers and Spaling. That seems like common sense to me.

yeah not much else to add, we blew like the wind tonight.

Like Trig said, couldnt get it deep. So no pressure, nobody going to the net, it was chip it over the blue line straight to a Shark and then retreat for a full 40 minutes.

Really disappointing.

A piece of sky just landed behind the house. I'll post photos shortly.

I'm thinking that if we hadn't gotten that one point, it actually would have flattened the house, so for that I am thankful.

Seriously, it's one game, some of you guys completely overreact to every single thing that goes on. Chill out, there are plenty of games left and we got a point out of this one.

Legwand looked like our best forward by a metric ton. Sullivan was horrible, a turnover machine with poor decisions. I thought Goc was pretty bad in the third period and OT (obviously). However, he did have the best chance of the 3rd with his drive to the net.

Eh, It's a little more than that. Aside from the 2 games vs. Detroit, we haven't looked that great since the All Star break. Yeah, we got a point. Great. But we looked lousy doing it, across the whole board.

And every team 4-10 in the standings all have at least 7 wins in their last 10 except us and Dallas. We have 4. So now is nut cutting time.

The OT goal is the exact reason we go out and find a veteran defenseman within the next week. Sulzer, SOB and Franson are too much of a liability on the back end. How does Patrick Marleau get behind everybody by that much of a margin? Inexcusable. We need a veteran d-man, pair him with Klein and be done with it. Then if and when we get to OT again you rotate that combo with Weber and Suter on the back end and the others never see the ice until they prove they are worthy again to do so.

When the playoff race comes down to a couple of points each season, and the difference between home ice advantage and the 8th seed is only a game or two... yes every single game matters and there is no such excuse as "just one game", especially after the all-star break.
