SO disappointed. They were up 2-0, I went with the wife to the brother in laws place to see their new born kid, I flick the channel to see the scores and it's tied. I get home I see we blew a SO. Pain in the butt, both goals in regulation is someone not picking up their guy in front of the net although Price slid around too much on the 2nd goal and was a bit out of position.

Gutted.

2 goal lead in the game. You knew they'd tie after multiple missed PPs and Wiz continuing to be incomprehensibly bad in all zones except for perhaps deking his way in...very slowly.

2 goal lead in the SO. Did...not...see...that...coming. Then Patches scores the go ahead (btw if he's not the molson cup winner for the month, which he won't be cuz of the way it's designed...). YEAH!!! we came back from epic fail! oh...crap. Then just a matter of time. Did Wizniewski's shot hit the crossbar or did it really go into space?

Lost the game in the first by not capitalizing. We all knew it would happen after that period. Gomez getting better, AK not much.

Thank god Cammarelli coming back will feel like getting another top 6 forward.
The Habs need someone that will go out there and inject some life in the team when they run around like tonight after going up 2-0..

Is Jimmy the guy who's in love with Halak, the 76th goalie this season?

I have never seen such uninspired thirty minutes of hockey in my life. Did Ruff get one of his guys to slip an ambien in the water bottles of Hamrlik, Pouliot and Wisniewski? Holy ****. I swear I saw Roman pluck out a tranquilizer dart from his neck after the game. I can watch the Habs lose - I can watch them lose big. What I can't watch is them not put forth an effort. And lol at people here blaming Price. He wasn't even awful in the shootout. He was beat clean on most ever shot. The game should never have gotten to a shootout anyways. The Habs were less opportunistic than a still celibate janitor at an all girls school. I am honest-to-god thrilled that we got a point out of this because we most certainly did not deserve one. Kudos to Gomez, Price and Subban; everyone else, good luck playing at half-speed (nay, quarter-speed) against Vancouver. I can't comment on Kostitsyn tonight otherwise I'm liable to have a stroke. Goodnight.

Buffalo impressed me tonight. They won all the meaningful battles on the boards and their defence was solid. If I was Gauthier or Habs management, I would go after Ruff big time. Buffalo is a much improved team and now in the hunt for a playoff spot. Look out, the ship is sinking.

Our chance may come if the Bruins lose their next game (and we win the next one)

Should they just cancel the rest of the season now and just give the Bruins the cup?

It would be awfully nice of them since it's been so long since any Bruins fans have seen one.

Aww. Come on.

I knew exactly where you got your ranking, but I wanted you to actually type out that you think that Boucher, Crawford and Varlamov have been better than Price because you are drastically overemphasizing the importance of a single statistic.

Do you think that Daniel Sedin is the 24th best sniper in the league too?

As much as I want to complain I can't really. But I had a feeling the multi shot outburst in the first period with only one goal scored would come back to haunt the Habs. Frankly I was giddy when the Habs scored a second.

Given everything that's happened in the last week with the Boston debacle and injuries piling up, I'll gladly take the 4 points the Habs have earned in the last three games. The Habs have taken points in each of their three games since Boston and the Bruins have yet to get one. That makes me very happy. And the Habs have done it with half of the D core and main sniper missing.

AK46 made some good defensive plays but offensively.....oh well.

Gomez with another minus night.

Nash has a nice point shot.

Subban was starting to go solo.

Hamrlik looked totally gassed from sometime in the third until the end.

Pouliot was on his arse a lot.

DD is fun to watch.

Pacioretty almost scored what could have been a game winner.

Time to move on. Some players need a break and maybe a trip west will do them some good. Rest up boys and get healthy.

The Habs simply cannot go on for long with a D like this.

The only bright spots were gaining a point on the Bruins and having The Leafs continue to rack up points and dilute the value of the Bruins' draft pick. Like the Sabres tonight, the Leafs came from behind to win.

Yup, Martin needs to get some credit here. Even with all the injuries we still are competing. Heck he managed to bring the team to the 3rd round with the 27th best goalie.

I don't know how Price and Sedin got into a discussion of Martin, who has done a remarkable job getting a decimated lineup into the division championship picture by taking a group of forwards and getting them to use their speed in all directions at the rink.

If someone wants to attribute the success elsewhere it's their prerogative to be in the majority who bash Martin but I definitely don't see it that way.

We got a point, Buffalo played more desperate, no big deal. Quit whining, you girls screamed and planned a parade after we beat Toronto, and sulk when we get a point.
