Leafs, new and improved with even less forward depth!

This is one we need to win. Can't drop points at this time of year.

We're sitting in 9th right now, two points and two games back of Carolina. We have a chance to take the 8th spot tonight, let's go Buffalo!

Heard Giggy is in tonight for Toronto... With our offense rolling lately, we make this one look easy. Millers rest shuts them down, Our offense rolls another game knowing a win puts us in 8th with a Carolina regulation loss. An Unlikely hero steps in for the Sabres

Sabres 6
Pommer
Kaleta (SH)
Kaleta
Ennis
Leopold
Gaustad

Leafs 1

I don't think so but I am not 100% on that. And I hope he isn't, he hasn't brought much at all and I don't want to change what's not broken.

Miller has a night off, is pissed at the media, and has exclusive rights to the Maple Leafs' collective hides.

Win. Go Devils.

Awards:
If Miller isn't sharp, this could be a barn-burner akin to Sunday's matchup. The Leafs gave the Bruins D fits last night and the B's mis-fired on a bundle of chances.

It's the Leafs in Buffalo, so it's a win. But it might be a tad tougher than usual. I'll go with 4-2, Sabres.

Lupul
Kulemin

Stafford (2)
Ennis

Sabres 5
Leafs 3

Ugg... I have tickets for the game tonight, and I just don't want to go. Those Leafs fans annoy me

Ennis, Gerbe, or Leopold score

Tell that to Boston, who played at home against them yesterday. The Leafs are 5-4-1 in their last 10, so they are playing better of late. Should be a win, not a free one.

5-2 Sabres Win
Jump off to an early lead and Miller holds off a Leafs surge in the 3rd.

Just read the Leafs' board. They're getting optimistic.

Sabres win, 5-1.

We can't have a bunch of happy Leafs fans on these boards.

Yeah, and the past two times they came into Buffalo they were high on the hog, and Buffalo slapped them back to reality.

Nov 26: Leafs came in having won 3 of 4, including a 4-1 victory over Dallas in the game preceding their trip to Buffalo. Buffalo wins, 3-1.

Feb 5: Leafs come in having won their first two games after the ASB, including a 3-0 thrashing of the Hurricanes in the previous game. All you heard about heading into that one was how good "Optimus Reim" is. Buffalo wins, 6-2.

Feb 16: Leafs arriving in Buffalo after winning a back-and-forth game against the Bruins, 4-3, and with a 3-1-1 record since their last game in Buffalo. The result? We'll find out...

My favorite thing about Leaf fans is their optimism levels seem to reset before every Sabres game, only to have them crushed back into place during the game. Love it.

Too many predictions of victory in this GDT.

I have a bad feeling about this one. Miller has another stinker and we lose 5-4.

Leafs win 3-0.

Lupul
Voros
Kessel

Sabres fans are getting too cocky when we face the Leafs, so they'll eat their hats tonight.

The Buffalo Sabres are 13-2 against the spread in the last 15 meetings with Toronto. The spread is Sabres -1.5.

This one won't be close.

I tend to doubt that the attitude of fans has much impact at all on results on the ice.

On the other hand, your consistent pessimism has corresponded nicely with the Sabres' resurgence and steady climb up the standings. So keep on doing your thing. Maybe it's helping.
