You know what, I don't expect Hemsky to get traded, at least this year. ST is a thinker and very slow at making decisions. He will do the easy thing and the easy thing, right now, is nothing and retain Hemsky and Penner rather than take the chance on making a poor deal. Next year, he won't have a choice but to make a move and I would expect one or both gone by 2012 deadline.
I agree. People call Hemsky soft because they look at his games played and have never seen him play. Hesmky is anything but soft. Injury prone? Sure. Soft? Not in the slightest. Hemsky does not shy away from physical contact or high traffic areas. He plays reckless, and has been put on the shelf by some pretty cheap hits because of it. Soft? That's funny.
True. If Hemsky was soft he wouldn't get injured like he does.
