The way the Debbies are playing and Philly blowing everyone out of the water (and adding more!).. Carolina always give us a hard time but that might be the most winnable game.. The Caps and T.Bay are awesome and the Kings have a ton of talent...

I could easily see this being 2-4 but I wouldn't be shocked if we went 0-6/1-5 or something along the lines of 1-2-3

Considering that in the losing streak they lost 6 games by a combined 7 goals, I'm not all that worried about the losing streak. Those one goal margins will even out on our side. Still, it will be a fight to the end to make the playoffs. I like how the team is built and think they will make it.

If they start nosediving like Colorado, then you get worried, but all of their losses have been by 1 goal. Really close games.

That's just a brutal strech of games. Wish we could be beating up on scrub teams to get the fanbase, and the teams, confidence back up.

Losing a few games to the panthers and the blow up against Atlanta will come back to haunt us.

Perhaps, perhaps not. How many people expected us to beat Vancouver...or the Caps and Pens in the same week? In the end you need about 92 points to make the show...it doesn't matter how you get them.

What kind of question is this? Do you even watch hockey? What place are the Rangers in now? Oh they're in 30th place? Really? Guess they won't make the playoffs then..

Great results for the Rangers last night. Loss for both Buffalo and Carolina.

Coming into tonight we were at 82.3% likelihood. Gotta imagine we'll pick up a point or two after tonight.

Sports Club Stats is the place I look at. Anyone have something else they prefer?

I hate to see you go through this so let me save you some trouble - we're making the playoffs, don't panic, 7/8th place all the way, come on, this is the Rangers !

Better mark it down now - April 9th last game of the season vs the Devs, winner takes 8th place

Thats a common "sympthom" for a young team, always very variable results.I think we`ll see more consistency next year. I`m more concerned about the overall passing abilities in this team.

And since the Rangers like to find new and interesting ways to embarrass the franchise, I'm sure we can guess the outcome

I'm not sure I could stomach that. I think I'd rather have my toe nails ripped off then have to watch that game under those circumstances.

Said the same thing in the Devil playoff thread on the main board. It's like you can see all the pieces falling into place for this nightmare to come true. Which is why they have to win on Friday. Going through a repeat of last year would be intolerable.

I don't see why the Rangers wouldn't make the playoffs. And maybe, just maybe these boys will be able to bring some success to one of the least successful franchises in sports history.
