Honestly though does anyone believe Sully would waive his NMC to go to MTL? It's not as if MTL is in a better position to make a run than we are. I'd do the deal but I highly doubt Sully would waive.

I can't imagine why sully would leave or why the habs would trade an rfa for a ufa.

I know Sully has had an off year, but this speculation of AK46 for Sullivan caught me totally by surprise.

Could there be any truth to a team like Montreal realistically wanting to acquire Steve Sullivan? He's like 37 and approaching UFA status quickly...

I just don't understand. Please enlighten me

A sullivan LIKE player. It will be dumont for AK because AK is unfocused and pissed for not being on a scoring line...

Dumont. It literally has to be dumont. Dumont wanted to also wanted to be a hab after his days in buffalo but gainey said no.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Dex dealt to someone like Toronto as a stop-gap for them due to their injuries. He seems like a great guy, but there is just a massive logjam in our goalies.

I'd be stunned if we traded Dekanich at this point. That would mean that if Pekka was hurt, we'd be going into the playoffs with Lindback and Jeremy Smith. I don't think Poile takes those kind of chances.

Ok, Goc is out with whats look like shoulder sep. 2-3 week I assume.
Sully just not into game... Might miss couple games (might more, depend on the injury)

So what do we do now?

We need a goal scorer asap...

I'd say Svatos is in full time and we call someone up? It'd be nice to add a scorer, though...

Goc doubtful for Saturday.

All this talk about AK, I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that SK was a bit of a problem child due to being on a team with his bro, and that his breakout has come from being on the preds-- far away from AK. Wouldn't something like that be factored in when talking trade for AK? SK has become quite the pred.

Then I'd have to un-follow Dekanich on Twitter.

With Fisher here we can absorb the Goc injury a lot better than we could have before. We can either recall Mueller for 44th line duty or justuse smitty and spaling.this doesant force our hand. And I'm sorry but has Dex actually shown enough to be a real trade chip? I'd think would be worth more to us than we could get for him

I don't think Edmonton would touch it with a ten foot pole. A good AHL goalie\potential NHL backup doesn't make up the difference between a dynamic first line potential forward(a year removed from being selected 10th overall) and a second pairing potential defenseman. Paarjavi is 3 years younger than Blum and is playing "pretty good" in the NHL, as opposed to "pretty good" in the AHL, as Blum is.

Definitely agree. More like gross overpayment by Edmonton. MPS is an elite prospect. Blum is above-average and Dex has literally no value (no offense to him, it just isn't a goalie's market right now).

Teams in rebuilding mode don't trade top tier young prspects. Might as well ask for hall...

Dex has been recalled, and no reported injuries to Rinne or Lindback. I'd say Lindback is gone, and Dex is now our number two guy.

I love how the front office works. Sully and Goc are injured. So we recall a netminder. Maybe Dex played Center in his mighty mite days.

Interesting. Rumor of Lindback with the flu.

1) Could be that Nashville might want to showcase Dex in a trade.

2) Lindback could be traded.

OK. Thank goodness. Don't want to lose either Dex or Lindback right now.
