You mean our Manitoba Moose defense?

Tonight it's the Nashville Predators vs. The Vancouver Canucks featuring the Manitoba Moose

Good luck though. I honestly don't expect the Canucks to win and the 3-1 score prediction is probably accurate.

Wow, lots of vitriol from Preds fans.

I'd probably venture a guess that the Preds are the front-runner for the Canucks collective fanbase as their 2nd favorite team.

A lot of that has to do with Weber and Trotz/Poile obviously.

I'm not as interested in whether we win as whether Trotz quits putting players on lines and in positions that most of the fan base has already decided they really suck at.

Hoping to see some matchups we've seen before with some success. Fisher does not have to be "first line" and asked to do everything to save us. He is supposed to be here so that Legwand can be top line and not have to focus on doing everything.

I'd prefer if Ward does not play with either Legwand or Wilson tonight. Preferably not Sully either with those two but I guess he has to play somewhere.

The lines posted on the Canucks GDT has Fisher as your 1st line C, any reasoning to that?

Those lines also have Haslichuck in the lineup (He was sent down to Milwaukee before the SJ game) and Dumont who was a healthy scratch on Tuesday. As far as I know Svatos and Goc will play and we dont really have a 1st line.... just 3 2nd lines and a shutdown line.

Yeah, we don't really have a number 1 center. Usually the center who gets the most time in a game is the center on the most effective line that Trotz has decided to run with for that game.

in a perfect world the lightning strikes the wings; preds and nucks play to a tie with preds winining in ot; and somehow next flyer game philly goes down.

so then, in a perfect world, preds gain on wings, nucks get a point and stay atop the standings and pronger leads his squad at future sucking... or is that sucking going forward...

of course in a perfect world vancouver wudn't be starting one of its original starting six d, but maybe its just to get Obie some justice.
