Nooooooooo! Stay far away!

If they are going to bring in a d-man with a contract for next season, go after Liles.

This happens enough already with our current roster, don't need another one.

That was years ago. Not every old player Torts coached will turn out to be a solid addition to the club. They have been lucky with Fedotenko and Prospal.

3 or 4 years ago he would've been okay.

His best seasons came when he played the PP with Lecavalier/Richards/St Louis and then with Heatley/Alfredsson/Spezza.

I'm thinking this is another Brooks being an ''special'' reporter type of rumor (maybe he just said it since Ottawa's been busy cleaning house of Kelly and Fisher)...but the mere idea of bringing in Kuba without ridding ourselves of this Redden-tross contract (I Know wishful thinking...) is + + =

Brooks and Garrioch must have been hitting the bong and exchanging trade proposals...

Why?

Please, quick, someone throw a sack over Sather's head and stow him away in a closet until the trade deadline is over.

Never been all that impressed with Kuba, he's definitely the type that benefits from having good teammates and is not a catalyst offensively. He's like a slightly older, less effective version of Rozy. The fact that Kuba has only 5 points and was benched for not being physical leads me to believe that he will be of no help to this team.

If people hated Rozsival, mamma mia, they won't like Kuba much at all. Just a slightly bigger, older, and at this point, worse version of Rozy.

EDIT: Looks like OTC got here with the same sentiment first - my bad!

I had a feeling this is what we will go for. Another soft defenseman on the downhill of his career.
