I'm not interested in anything that has to do with Frolov, unless it's about him going far away from this team.

I'm actually pretty confident about tonight's game.

Tomorrow will be interesting against the Devils. I still felt like we were the better team last game we played them during this streak of theirs, but what can you do when Hank lets in three terrible goals?

The only game that really I don't even want to watch is the Philly game.

We suck against the Flyers to begin with, but a 1230 game on NBC? That's got a 4-1, 5-1 type loss written all over it.

Been a tough year for me as I'm only 0-1-1. In the past few years, I've been averaging between 6-15 games... Last year I got to more when I lived in Buffalo than I have this year in Connecticut. Hoping to start seeing some W's in person again. Pregaming beforehand. Can't wait to be in the Big Apple.

I'm 0-0-0.

It doesn't look like I'll be going to a game at the Garden at all this year.

If they need more motivation to win this game they shouldn't be playing

Caught up in the middle of the East bubble race. Honestly, about a month / month and a half ago I was reveling in the fact that we may not have to be as worried as prior years going into March and April. The Rangers were sitting comfortably above the playoff line with about a 10 point cushion at one point, maybe more. I honestly thought this year might be different. Then the injuries hit. Then the slump.

Fast forward to tonight and the Rangers are in dire need of separating themselves by a mere 6 point lead while having played 3 more games then Buffalo, a team gunning for that 8th, or even 7th spot.

I know the Devils would love to see the Rangers not make the playoffs, hell, I'm sure a lot of teams in the East and around the league would too. If the last few seasons are any indication, the Rangers won't bow out. They won't die. They won't let yesterday effect them. Not with guys like Henrik, Ryan and Brandon. They've been here before and they've failed only once, and by only one point.

Despite the precarious position they are sitting in, I still feel this is a different team then years past. Sure they are young, especially on defense. But there's an attitude I like. Theres a will I see in this team on a nightly basis that was lacking in years past, especially last year. That team didnt deserve to make it IMO. This team does. Very rarely do they not show an honest effort this season. The past few years it was a lot more common. Sure the mental mistakes are still there but you can live with that.

But now's the time to turn the corner. Now's the time to get that mojo back from earlier in the year. The injuries have healed, the reinforcements have arrived and have had some time to get back into game shape. The Rangers have had a good amount of well-deserved rest and have had spirited and focused practices. Now is the time to make a statement, to themselves, to their fans, and to the league - albeit one that might not get noticed with a simple two points at home, but one that's going to be extremely important for the teams psyche going into the last 24 games.

They are teetering on the proverbial momentum fence right now. After tonight the schedule heats up again. 8 games in the next 2 weeks. It's time to jack it up a level and make it your season. Take the guessing games and scoreboard watching out of the mind and just go out there and be as sharp as a tack. Now is the time and it starts tonight with 2 points. A strong two points. And while you're at it beat down the Devils tomorrow in their building and make them eat a slice of humble pie.

LETS GO RANGERS
You might be my favorite poster on here. Great post. Let's do this!!!

I'm not too optimistic about tonight's game. I don't think the Rangers match up well with a stingy defense from LA. Hopefully I'm wrong and they fill the nets...

Hedberg's in for the Devils tomorrow so we're fighting back-ups on consecutive nights.

Backups ALWAYS stand on their heads against us all year long, and hedberg hasnt been playing bad in nj. Thank god we got this rest all week, because im pretty sure Henrik will be goin 3 in a row right now in some real stressful grinders. Gotta take at least 4/6 points next 3 games. Lets carry the momentum from the pens game and keep pushing.

I'd just like to point out the nauseating statistic that Olli Jokinen has more points than Gaborik, this year. ughhhhhhhhh

The 2 points, tonight... would be far sweeter, imo. A loss right after a win would be deflating to the team, after they finally ended the streak. We need to start a good streak. We can't be worried about stats or milestones, right now.
