Boardwalk Empire was so uneven, and The Walking Dead had more subplots that didn't interest me. As far as I'm concerned, Justified was the best new show of 2010.
Glad it's back. I think I'm going to like this new villain.
love the show is back and love the fact that Elmore is more involved this time around then the last time they made a series out of his books--he is giving more ideas towards the plots

I think they're also involving the cast a lot more, well Olyphant (who produced last night's ep) and Walton Goggins (Boyd) at least. Read an interview with Goggins that said, while he doesn't have veto power, his opinion is queried on some of his character's direction and nuances.
Good episode last night, I wouldnt say great though. What I love about this show is how Raylan gives a tutorial to all the criminals about what exactly is going to happen to them while they all have guns pointed at him and then shoots usually shoots them. So from last night it seemed like he killed at least 10 people last season.
Another solid episode tonight. I feel like this season has so many story lines that the last few episodes are going to be absolutely jam packed with stuff going on and they're going to be great when it all comes together.
Great standalone episode, as well as one that worked well as serial.
This show may be cementing into my top-5. Hasn't show any effects off season 1 hangovers that we see occur with soooooo many shows.
When you say top 5 do you mean of ALL time or currently on the air? If so that's pretty high praise.
It's my second favorite current show after Burn Notice.
I'm not a serial junkie like a lot of people seem to be these days. I'm perfectly fine with shows that have mostly contained episodes. The key to those types of shows is though, you have to have good characters. I think serials have a little more freedom to get away with poorer secondary characters since you spend a lot of the time focusing on the plot direction of the main 1-3 people on a show.
But with Justified I like all the characters and I hope they'll continue to have the other marshalls in more prominent roles. It's not an ensemble by any stretch but I love the format of Raylan + one other character for a contained story; and some additional backstory with either the current villan or Boyd.
Another fantastic episode. We're starting to see how Mags's boys fit into the larger picture and how it'll be molded into, at least, this season's arc.
Glad Boyd got some more screentime. Goggins really took the ball and ran with it in this episode.

This was my favourite episode so far in this season, and I'm pretty sure Boyd is the reason why. I found him a bit off putting when he was preaching, but before and after that I've loved him.
Such a great show...gonna have to get caught up, as I've only seen 2 episodes in the series. Watched a rebroadcast of the newest episode last night at 11pm and am hooked.
Ok...all caught up on Season 2, and downloading all 13 episodes of Season 1 from piratebay to watch later. I think this and Breaking Bad are the 2 best shows on TV, and there's not a whole lot of competition.
