Too bad the Rangers played a tough one last night. It seems like when one team or the other is on a hot streak, the streak usually comes to an end. Let's hope that's the case tonight.

I disagree. This team has really been playing well as of late, even before these last two wins. Henrik has looked a little weak at times, but he always ups his game against the Devils, and they seem to be back to scoring at a decent enough rate. This is going to be a good game, certainly not a 3-0 win either way.
Conflicting emotions on this game. I'll be at the game on Sunday, and we haven't had a 4 game win streak all season. Obviously pulling for a win, but I'm going to be upset if the 3rd game I go to this year (two against the Flyers counting Sunday) we end up losing. I'll be happy if we score first or at least score in the 1st period tonight.
Still don't think the Devils have a shot at the playoffs. The entire run they would have to go on would be absolutely ridiculous. Basically have to do what they just did in the last 15 games. Not happening.
Kill the Devs and send them on a 5 game losing streak so they miss the POs.

I gotta watch what I say about the Devils and their streak because it could come back to bite me in the ass royally, but I honestly, from the depths of my being, believe they won't make the playoffs. Not because they won't play well enough, but simply because they just can't imo.
They have 5 teams to jump over to get there, and two of them have games in hand. All 5 have more wins, and 3 of them are 10 points or more above them, and thats not including the Rangers. I give them a ton of credit for this streak they are on, but even the Phillys, Detroits and Vancouvers can't keep that kind of pace going for the final 25 games. Bounces stop going your way, a goalie will have a bad game... it happens. In my estimation the Devils can only lose 5 or 6 games the rest of the season.
Some Devils fans honestly believe they will make it. Us Rangers fans still feel shaky at best of OUR chances and we are sitting in 7th for crying out loud! Beat NJ tonight and the Rangers will be 18 points ahead of them with 9 more wins. It would be a modern-day miracle if the Devils could catch the Rangers with only 24 games left, let alone make it to the playoffs and jump over Florida, Toronto, Atlanta, Buffalo and Carolina.
Buffalo, Carolina, Atlanta, Montreal, Washington, Boston and the Rangers are going to battle for the 5 playoff spots, that's just the way its going to be. Sorry.
Definitely respect their game right now, but don't give them too much respect and worry about how to play them. Let them play YOU, you are the ones sitting in a playoff spot and have had a good season because you've earned it. Beat them like the team are. A 27th place team in the NHL.
