Boston is better now as they have filled in a hole in their team.
Leafs are better tomorrow.
I agree. Especially if BOS receives their 2nd 2011 back.
Kaberle fills a huge need on that team, something they did not have since Wideman left. If Kaberle resigns in BOS next year, I'd go as far as calling this trade a win for the Bruins.
Good all-around deal by both teams. I do believe Colborne will end up pretty good in this league. What's more interesting for Boston, is that they end up giving their 1st this year.....but ends up getting Toronto 2nd this year....how much of a difference will that end up anyway? So in the end, it's almost Kaberle for Colborne...and 10 spots in the draft. Knowing how Boston is also able to get some guys not in the 1st round, it's a pretty good deal by Chiarelli once again.
The way Philly & Boston have improved I don't know if we have the team to beat them in a 7 game series. Next year when we're alot healthier and hopefully have some more size I could see us buying for a long run.

The question is: are we going to be "a lot healthier" next season?
If were going to make a run we need alteast one of Markov or Gorges.
My point was that last year Cammalleri, Gionta, Markov, Gill, AK, Mara all missed significant time with Hamrlik and Spacek also out for around 7-8 games.
They will not win the cup with Kaberle anyway ... Philly will eat them alive
Colborne from what I read Boston has soured on him because he plays really soft, plus he hasn't put up the numbers anticipated in the AHL...I think Toronto wanted Caron but Boston would only do the deal with Colborne or Hamill.
