Marty Reasoner

What type of return is Florida looking to get for Reasoner if they trade him?

In general and in terms of Washington Capitals assets.

He's been excellent this year. Second round pick or good prospect.

I'd do a 3rd at best.

With what Moore has gone for in recent years, a 2nd seems about right.

From a Canucks POV, I'd be willing to give up a 2nd round pick + low end prospect.

I'd tab his value at a 2nd round pick.

Weiss wouldn't be dealt inside the division I think. Weiss just said that he wants to play the rest of his career for the Panthers if they let him. So I don't see it happening.

Wow. No offense to Panthers fans, but doesn't he want to win sometime in the foreseeable future?

I hope he goes to a team that can make a good run. I always felt bad for him that he missed out on playing with Edmonton in 06.

Reasoner: 24 points, +6, 55% faceoff, 1.2M

Fisher: 26 points, -17, 45% faceoff, 4.2M

I hope he lands back with the Oilers. Not only does he do his job well, he is also a class act.

I would say a 2nd round pick, but that pick can easily be a 1st rounder.

Have you've seen our prospect pool? And we'll probably have a pretty good pass this season too. And even if it will take 4-5 years Weiss will still have plenty of NHL years left.

I honestly don't understand why Gillis hasn't gotten this done already, can't be comfortable with only Hodgson/Glass as 4th line C options going into the playoffs and has an existing relationship with Tallon.

Seems like a no-brainer unless i'm missing something.

Is this where i say 'no offense taken?'

It's called loyalty. Kinda refreshing in this day and age.

How about Shirokov and Ellington?

And Reasoner isnt worth Fisher regardless of what the stats say. Fisher's built for the playoffs and thus has a higher value.
