But the dumping and chasing has been soooo much more successful...

..............

Ive been saying for 2 months fire Tortorella......but noone listens.......

Tort is a good coach with a good system.......

But the system does not work for this group of players........

So even if he was the best hockey coach in the world his sytem does not work with the team we have.......

In any case good run at it in the 3rd but just short of the infamous net....

Might be an idea to just switch the teams and let Whale play NHL games and send everyone but Hank to the AHL

My God people relax.

I saw a team that just played a great West Conference team the night before that went to a shootout. Then face a very well rested team, whose one of, or the hottest team in the league right now.

They were tired, plain and simple. Not the end of the world.

They certainly can't, they are such a half ass team. Finally hank puts on a performance worthy of a regulation win and they can't even supply a goal.

Renney was fired at 31-23-7.

We're at 31-25-4. After missing the playoffs last year...

Avery and Gaborik had a great shift together at the beginning of the third, then Avery didn't see the ice.

Torts really has no idea how to use him

Avery - Stepan - Gaborik
Dubi - AA - Cally
WW - Prospal - Zucc
EC - Boyle - Prust

typical hfboards rangers fans overreactions. The Devils are playing playoff hockey at this point, they have to win at all costs, and we came off a very very taxing back to back. It happens and we move on to the next. We'll be fine. Step off the ledge guys.

Maybe you noticed they can't do either successfully. They can't stickhandle into the zone because they are constantly offsides and they can't complete a pass. They dump and chase and no one is there or they refuse to shoot. They had 15 shots because they barely even attempt to shoot, sure the devils had some blocks, but they barely tried to shoot.

We had four days off before the L.A. game though.

We looked craptacular tonight. Staal had one of his worst games I've ever seen.

He's awful, I especially love his comment towards the end that the devils weren't trapping, they were aggressively forechecking even with only a 1 goal lead, but when you look at the screen and the rangers have the puck in their own zone you don't see any devils. Looked like the days before the tag up offsides.

Yeah, we're about to relax our way to second consecutive playoff miss.

This is crunch time. Efforts like tonight hurt, and do not bode well for the stretch. We're 2-6-1 in our last nine.

Why? Because he's actually acting calm and not begging for the coach to be hung from the roof of the Garden?
