While Nash didn't have a banner game, people need to ease up a bit.

Look at every D we've ever called up (save Subban). There is a learning curve. Weber wen't from equally boneheaded to a solid contributor in the span of 20 games. Not saying Nash will do the same, but I wouldn't just proclaim him useless based on two games.

Perhaps Nash was nervous..etc.

But I do think that Carle looked better when he was first called up. Looked more composed.

He must have learned that from Hal Gill... it happens to the big guy at least once every game. Luckily for him, they don't all result in goals

I don't think Carle will ever crack the Habs lineup... and that is nothing more than a gut feeling. Subban and Weber are ahead of him offensively and we need some muscle on our defense. Carle doesn't fit the bill.

Unlikely since none of the Dogs D need to pass through recall waivers, but with Festerling injured, the only LD they had that was an option was Henry. Nash looks to have a future with the Habs, and he's had a good season so far, so the callup makes sense.

I haven't the extend of his injury, just that it's upper body and that he's day to day. He would have to clear waivers to be sent down if he was recalled and later sent back down.

To be expected though, Carle was called up after spending 3 years in the AHL and 5 NHL camps. Nash has one NHL camp under his belt and is adjusting from playing 30ish games a year to a full 80+ schedule against bigger stronger faster players.

I think that Gill and Mara will take places of Nash and Picard tomorrow. But when Wiz is ready, then he will take place of Mara or Weber ?
Then when Spacek is ready, who will be out ?

Weber needs to play!!! He has made big strides this year. Mara is not the future.
