In terms of being purely dynamic offensively maybe, top 10 all around player in the league? No. Not to sound rude here but he is more dynamic than any Kings forward. Of course I would take Kopitar over him in a trade but besides Anze, JJ, and DD I can't think of a King that I'd move Hemsky straight up for if this wasn't for rebuilding purposes, maybe Brown as well because of the physical aspect of his game but that's it.

Top ten creative forward top 6 wing imo.

Not close to being a top 10 overall player but then we weren't talking about that, we were talking about his offensive prowess.

In an attempt to reverse this mini jinx, can we trade Schenn for Hemsky now? That is all.

Oh and Edmonton has a great young team that will be fun to watch for years to come.

If Hemsky is the one, and the Oilers aren't asking for the moon, then they need to do it. Problem is that he's not a goal scorer, so you're putting him exclusively with Kopitar.

They just said on the Hotstove that the asking price for Hemsky is huge. Lebrun said that one GM told him, "they can keep Hemsky".

From a NJ Devils blogger:

For those who asked, Zach Parise said via e-mail that there no truth to whatever report is out there that says he might need 2nd surgery .

There is a 0% chance Parise is traded. Devils are on the hottest streak ever and are only 10 points out of the playoffs after beating the Hurricanes three straight times in two weeks.

It was more of a response to CBGB spreading false rumors.

Oh. But we already knew that. Dancing Boy is terrible at all rumors except for team injuries.

I thought it was known his source is one of the team doctors. That's why he knows when someone is injured before reported.

He's never right on anything else.

Now ask Zack if he has clouding around the damaged area of his knee and if he needs additional draining or to have some of the scar tissue addressed. Matt is typically bang on with his injury reports (if we have to be specific) and I think that were there is smoke there is fired.

Nobody is saying that ZP is done, just that he has more time and work that needs to be done to his knee.

He's saying draft pick and then that pick will be moved for a star player.

Brown is worth alot more than a pick (non lottery)...so there is that.

So he is saying Simmonds for a late first round pick?

Yuk.

Of course how that gets us a star player is beyond me. Sounds a bit off....

I think Brown is worth a lottery pick and more.

I read the original article that stated Parise had exploratory arthoscopic surgery, no damage to the ligaments or meniscus and he's still out? I'm not a doctor but I have had knee surgery before, if you don't have ligament or meniscus damage what are you doing surgery on?
