Love it! Not too cluttered like CDC's wallpapers, and a nice touch with BC's natural landscape. I'm also a big fan of alternative blue/white/green striping that differs from the regular blue-white-green-white-blue associated with the Canucks' unis, with my preference leaning toward simplicity (e.g. Lou's soon-to-be-replaced mask). I like that you incorporated that, but kept it on the edge instead of right down the middle. It's now my new desktop wallpaper.

That's sick. Awesome work.

Edit 2 days later: Because I don't want to make another full post:

You're saying this like it's a bad thing. The problem with 99% of fan-made wallpapers that I see is that there is way too much going on.

This one made my desktop personally because I think the balance was pretty good.

Is that a folded paper texture you have over the entire image?

I can never find wallpapers in my resolution. It's sweet though.

As constructive as a wrecking ball.

I prefer minimal design and this is good as it lets the background and image of Lou do the talk. Nice work!

You get a fail for not showing your work. OP did not ask if you like it or not.

If you like wallpapers with neon graphics and robots playing hockey vs. bears with lasers on their heads then its OK to tell us.

*yawn* stop trying to derail the thread. I'm sure the OP would much prefer people to talk about the actual topic rather than this rabble rabble.

I like it for it's minimalist approach but two reasons I am not using it:
1) the folded paper texture makes my eyes wonky. Sort of like this image

http://interfacelift.com/wallpaper_b..._1280x1024.jpg

And 2) I feel like I'm just too close to Luongo's massive nostril.

Other than that. Great work on the concept. Keep them coming.
