INJURY UPDATE
Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren addressed the media following a recent string of injuries that have cause a few Flyers to be out of the line up.

The most serious and lengthy of which concerns defenseman Sean O’Donnell.

“Sean is probably out for 10 days to two weeks,” said Holmgren.

O’Donnell suffered a lower-body injury, related to his knee, in the first period of Sunday’s game vs. Rangers.

Inserted into the lineup in place of O’Donnell will be Oskars Bartulis, who last appeared in a game on Jan. 11 at Buffalo, having been scratched for the last 17 games.

Blair Betts, who left Friday’s game at Carolina with a cut to his right hand and missed Sunday’s game at New York, will also be out of the line up for Tuesday and is likely to play later in the week.

OD needs a rest. Get Bart in there. He needs some playing time.

Be cautious with him, and give Bart some time

I'd go with 5 d-men before Bart anyday of the week. He sucks. I would rather have Walker out there.

Boucher confirms his (Boucher's) injury was neck related.

Dude, Walker is ten times better that Bartulis. When he was in the lineup he didn't have many games with his new hips. Bartulis should never be in a Flyers jersey ever again.

I know it's not a popular opinion but I like Walker better as well. Meszaros will make either of the much better anyway. Bartulis seems to have absolutely no ability to get the damn puck out of his zone especially in the 3rd period.

I suspect some sort of numbing. That was the way it looked from watching live action. The reason I didn't think it was groin related was due to his reaction by spreading his legs. Generally, a groin injury, legs are pressed together to relieve discomfort. (all joking aside).

Bart hasn't seen action in what like two months? Walker is waived in favor of Bart.

Neither can Walker.. Bart is clearly the better skater and puck handler then Walker. By miles. The only thing Walker has on Bart is his physical presence.

Anyway, I hope OD is not out to long.

Bart played for the Phantoms when they were beyond abysmal under Idiot Stick. Walker is playing for the Phantoms when they are not that good

O'Donnell -- Initial indications: good news, not serious.

Boucher: stinging up and down his right arm after banging his neck against Kimmo.
