Everyone is available to be traded, but the only thing that you need to realize about gaborik specifically is that regardless if he's in a slump or not, he still commands the other teams top defensive pairing..

Gaborik, because of his talents and proven goal scoring track record, commands other teams top pairings which in the end opens up the ice for our other lines.

if this team's identity is a grinding style, than he's going to continue to be a letdown throughout the length of his contract. Even if he has a breakout season again next year, he's one hit, stride, etc. away from an injury that can cripple a successful season.

He is incredibly talented but The guy has literally no muscle on his frame. he is absolutely puny. He will always be injured and we will always regret signing him.

Nail meet Head. 100%, and Gabby would probably be one of my first to go.

I've seen enough of him. I would not be at all disappointed to see him go as long as we get something significant back for him.

There's the issue of whether this injury will have an impact on interest in Gaborik leading up to next Monday's trade deadline.

Though previous reports of the Kings' interest in No. 10 have been fictitious, The Post has learned that Kings general manager Dean Lombardi recently has canvassed his friends among league executives for their opinions on the sniper, who is suffering through the worst season of his career and is available for the right price.

Spare yourself the cap hell and start over again . we can play 500 hockey im opretty sure with or without Gaborik .richards is not the answer to Gaborik .gaby is sad to say damaged goods woith now an egg shell head to go with bad wheels

Ok, not to be a COMPLETE conspiracy theorist, but anyone find it suspicious that no one from the media has seen or heard from Gabby since he left yesterday's game? I'm 99% sure it's nothing and he's just home resting, but...

Wait. Are you saying that dispells any thoughts of conspiracy... Or adds to them?

Possibly both haha. But was just an example of the media mentioning him... Who knows maybe his head is clear enough by the 28th to get moved. I for one would be all over that if LA pulls off the rumored Stastny move makes Schenn a little more expendable.

I'm a little surprised that the organization hasn't come forward to dispel the trade rumors. Seems to me like he is actually being dangled. The concussion certainly throws a wrench into things, though.

blah blah blah, do people really believe this?! The guy is made of glass, and other teams don't have to do much at all to shut him down... Sneeze his direction?
