No thanks from St.Louis as well. But you can have Winny for a case of LaBlatt.

I don't think St. Louis would be interested in that.

I've heard that Montreal have some interest in Brad Boyes. What would you guys think of something built around...

To Montreal:

Boyes

To St. Louis:

Hal Gill

Insert whatever you may need.

nah Montreal wouldn't do that. Fair Value but Montreal's Defensive Depth is laughable now with injuries and Hal is the vocal leader of the team.

Gill is not being moved. Montral has like 4 injured regular d-men right now.

So could we do something around Crombeen and Winchester for Eller?

I'd do it in a second if we had any Dmen available to replace Gill.

Question: What has happened to Boyes' game?

This is the one I wouldn't bother with. If we're going to move Kostitsyn, and that seems very likely, then I don't want Fehr back to replace him. Fehr may have size, but he's not very consistent or rounded as a player either. I'd like to upgrade on AK. Or if not upgrade, then at least shift to a grittier, meaner kind of player.

Bouchard should be of no interest to anybody. Pyatt may be of little use as well, but at least he can play in the NHL. Bouchard isn't as good as Maxwell, and we put Maxwell in every trade because we can't make a spot for him, soooo...

He became a more defensive responsible playmaker, and STL fans want to trade him because he is not scoring goals. His play has actually picked up in the last month around a ppg. He is a +10 so far this yr, if you would of told me that two years ago I would not believed it. I guess he is available since we picked up Stewart but in all honesty his value is probably on the low side and I think he will continue to improve so I would rather keep him.

He has 24 points (6G, 18A) in his last 26 games.

In addition to the things you mention, he's also become a noticeably more physical player...although he won't ever be confused with Cal Clutterbuck.

IMO, he's a better overall player then when we originally acquired him, but he was given his contract to be a goal scorer, and (right or wrong) that's the standard by which most fans continue to judge him.

FWIW, I also think he fits in well with what the Blues are doing up front and I'm content to keep him through the end of his contract. I think he's definitely movable, but the deal would have to make the team better somehow. I certainly wouldn't move him just to move his contract like some fans would.
