If Carcillo's in the lineup I wanna see him fight BizNasty. No excuses. I don't care if you get pummeled. Do it.

So you're just taking their word for it? He's hilarious and doesn't take himself seriously. If he was in a bigger market he would be muzzled but fortunately he's in Phx where they don't realize they have a hockey team.
Hope we're ready for this one, Phx has had a good season. Upshall will be pumped, that's for sure, so his teammates will want a win for him.

I predict more fan involvement than usual.

You'll see/hear what I mean.

I think I can speak for most of the Coyotes board and say that Biz isn't very liked. He has NO hockey ability and isn't physical, or irritates the opponent. The only thing that keeps him in the NHL is his fighting ability, locker-room presence, and his contract which is 1 way. He isn't as funny as people think he is either.

Yes, I don't spend much time on twitter and don't think my friends would lie to me. If they did, I will destroy them

Anyone expecting perfection from Bartulis has overly optimistic expectations. NOBODY is going to play well after riding the pine for so long. Why do you think we sent him to the AHL for a while? I actually wouldn't be opposed to having Bartulis and OD swap in and out every once in a while. Gives Bartulis some time to get his legs under him and gives OD time to rest.

Your friends are incorrect. He jokes about it but he doesn't outright whine about it.

He hasn't had consistent playing time this year, and when he gets in every 20 games people expect perfection. Its unrealistic. Hes still young and he has decent potential.
I don't know if you earn a 3-year contract after 10 games or whatever it was. But I don't expect perfection tonight or the next night, which I'm sure people will get all over him when he makes a mistake and use it as obvious proof that we need to go out and find another 7th defenseman, even if they're Adam Foote or Craig Rivet who can barely skate anymore.

A little OT, but the TOI/G difference between the #1 d-man (Timonen) and the #5 d-man (Meszaros) is 2:19. That's pretty awesome.
Just to compare: Last year it was 8:57 (sic). Even between #1 and #4 (Pronger/Coburn) it was still 4:47.

Cliché wagon here:
  • 60-minute effort
  • Win the little battles
  • Stick to defensive assignments
  • Stay out of the box
  • Bury opportunities
I'm hoping to see a win with an exclamation point. Keep pushing offensively instead of sitting on a lead. Or did this team change its motto to: Relentful?
