Thought he separated it. Thank god I was wrong. Hopefully Kolarik can bring us what he brought the Whale...some offense! Kid has some talent, and a good set of hands. And he's only 23. Much more upside than a Dupont imo.

Sorry to pick on you, but Feds' style is a major overlooked part of why we're successful. He definately wears the other team down and they are all aware of his will for the good fight either along the boards or with his fists....he can score too.
I wouldn't trade him, I'd trade for one more of him for the April rush. Why I suggested Duco, right now we could use that call up. (Don't go by the FL coach, he hasn't many fans at the BankAtlantic Center)

Remember at the beginning of the season when people were saying the Rangers had too many forwards? Oh how I miss those times.....

This is second hand news. Do not know if it's acurate or if any of you heard it as well.

I was listening to Mouth's show and they mentioned there was some fan forum event in the past few days and Prospal was there.

Vinny was answering some questions and said that he did not know if he would ever play again.

Just putting out what I heard.

That is the truth. It was reported either yesterday or today.

I don't think the hockey gods like us too much...

But let's look at the bright side! We still haven't had a major injury on defense and Lundqvist is still alive! Oh wait... I don't think I should be saying stuff like this...

You're lucky most of the board is asleep.

Well, luck has nothing to do with it this year...Upside is that we get the whole team going, like many players get PP/PK-time and a lot more time on ice than would be the case without tje injuries. Still sucks though.

Another tough loss. He's been probably the most underrated player on the team this season.

10 of his 15 goals in 3 games...two games against NYI and TOR too...I love Gaborik but this has to be a starting point of consistency. Honestly, its fun to see a four goal game but I would rather have had Gabby score one goal, maybe two. Now he is out of the slump and he is not as hungry. He needs to be scoring 4 goals in 5 games during a stretch. I'd rather have that then 4 goals in one mop up blow out win against a bad team. Lets see if he can get started now. I think even during this slump he has been playing and playing hard just really snakebitten and missing opportunities. Now lets see if he can bury those.

We've hit ludicrous captain.

It won't be long before another hit puts Boyle's left shoulder out for good. I cringe every time he grabs it and starts making circles. His scoring has dropped off ever since he did.

....and all this time we were worried about Gabby being injury prone.

Gabby did miss 10 games or so with his shoulder.Injury's are part of the game but come on enough is enough.

Thank god for the kids,

This is probably why Newbury was called up and not Grachev. They probably figured there's no reason to call him up for a game or two when Feds is just about to come back.

Fedotenko might be the key to the Rangers success.

The Rangers have posted a record of 8-0-1 when he tallies a goal and are 12-2-2 when he registers a point

The team has gone 4-8-1 since his injury.

Ranked fourth on the team with 106 hits at the time of his injury

Brain Boyle has only 3 goals and is -6 in the 13 games Fedotenko has missed. That line was a force this team misses and Fedotenko drove it IMO.

Several times I heard Torts reference Fedotenko when talking about players involved in the most scoring chances per game.

Torts has also mentioned that Feds (and Dubi) are two guys he relies on during key situations. Feds brought it every night. He opened up a lot of space for Boyle (and Prust). He's a 'Torts' kind of guy.

Ridiculously good for what I expected out of a tryout (and from what I heard from Pens fans at my office).

Will it make/break our season? I doubt it... But am hopeful.
