I don't care our past. I hate Columbus. the town, the university there, the hockey team, all 4 fans they have. I hope the shards of glass from my glass house impales their bug.

I hate them more than any other team in the league.

Thank you. It's not often that our totally inept team can engender such hate. Certainly hope we can deserve it.

I hope we win tonight.

That being said, I hope Columbus makes it into the playoffs. It would help to draw fans to them, and thats what this sport needs.

I am Surprised any Preds fan could hate Columbus. It always makes me feel good seeing Columbus as the next game on the schedule that usually means 2 points for the Preds! *knock on wood*

it is one of those things I can't really use words to explain. at least without hashmarks surrounding every word. Alot of it is how I was treated in their barn, and how their fans spoke to my wife. So yeah, its personal. I am sure most BJ fans are great people with a monumental character flaw, being they are in fact jacket fans.

Not feeling too good about this game. Kostytsin out?! Bummer. Oh well, we need our best remaining players to score. I was soon going to give Suter grief for his lone goal but since hes out he'll get a pass for now.

Legwand, Hornqvist, Wilson, Fisher, Shea, Franson all score, With a chip in from one or two others. 8 to 2 Preds. No sweat. (Oh, and a good fight. Tootoo most likely.)

The big key is the half decent start on a GDT. Liking some videos and some trash talking.

Yea the Predators have only gotten a 30 out of a possible 30 points in our last 15 meetings in Nashville. That's as guaranteed as a team can get. If Nashville didn't play Columbus 6 times a year they'd be 10 points lower each season.

Yea, Nashville is only 17-10-3 all-time in Columbus. They might as well be playing on home ice.

Except that Nashville is 15-0-0 in their least 15 meetings against Columbus at home.

I don't hate Columbus as much as I hate, say, St Louis. At least when I think of a Columbus game I don't immediately think "they're probably going to goon it up if we have a late lead".

With that said, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it. Columbus is fighting for a playoff spot just like we are. Should be an intense game.

Don't forget:
No Lindback
Sully with only one eye
Svatos with only one knee
Vish with only one testi... wait, that was last year

On the bright side:
Erat is healthy again
Fisher only has a scar to show for his puck to the face
Tootoo is sober (congrats- hope to hear at least a few whistles tonight)
Sully has one good eye, Svatos has one good knee, and Lindback wasn't playing (and God gave Vish a pair to work with).

Ick. I can empathize with that. Last time I was at Bridgestone I picked up more than my fair share of less-than-hospitable treatment, sadly. I've been able to avoid holding it against the Preds fanbase as a whole, myself, but it's easier in my case since I'd been to Bridgestone before and been reasonably well received.

So, yeah, been there.

Let's just hope all the nastiness stays on the ice tonight.

It really never gets old beating Columbus. I do have an odd amount of hate for their team despite us totally dominating them throughout their history. When they beat us I'm a little more mad than usual. I do respect there fanbase though. They have a pretty good fanbase here at HF and the hardcore ones have been through tons of mediocrity.

I like Columbus a bit. Not sure why although probably the non-trad hockey market thing. As someone already said, they aren't St. Louis... So that's a big plus!

They are 8-4 or so in their last 12. I really do have a decent feeling though. Didn't we lay an egg for most of the last time we played there but somehow still pull it out?

We have so many guys due for goals. Surely they will start to happen.
