Any idea if it's been recorded as a podcast?

Felton and Billups were both not going to be back in 2012 anyways so i dont see a problem with getting an older player in this situation. To sign Carmelo in the offseason we would have had to renounce the rights to Chandler anyways. So essentially the trade was Gallo Mozgov and a 2014 1st for a top 10 NBA player.

I read that we are also sending two 2nd round picks and $3M in cash. I assume that is for the trio of bench players: Williams, Carter, Balkman

Haven't seen this many bandwagon fans since the Penguins drafted Crosby

But seriously, a lot of Knicks talk up here at school today...in Buffalo...that's never, ever happened before but now suddenly everyone's a Knicks fan.

*sigh*

Just saw that, always loved the Camby Man when he was here, great defensive player.

Knicks may end up leaning heavily at center on Jerome Jordan in 11-12. Extremely far from ideal, but he has developed a little bit overseas.

Facebook blew up last night because of it, don't want to get accused of being a bandwagoner if I showed up in an Anthony jersey/t-shirt, so I should just get like aa Fields shirt so people could go "Who?".

Wouldn't it be one last kick in the crotch if Eddy Curry failed his physical and held up the trade? T-Wolves could waive it, but still..

You can't fault those of us who refused to watch the Knicks: an Isiah Thomas production.

The real bandwagoners are people who don't know who Dolan and Thomas are and what they did.

I just couldn't. Like I said, I'm more a fan of the Knicks and NY Basketball than the sport itself, so it was easier for me to stop watching it than it would ever be for me to stop watching Hockey (which I couldn't), but it hurt having the Knicks be my team and not even being able to handle keeping up with them, when everyone else just decided to become Celtics and Lakers fans.

im not a fan of the trade but i obviously hope it works out for the best.this team still has glaring needs/problems that need to be adressed.none of which were filled with the trade.

our bench has gotten alot worse, especially with Turiaf starting at center, thats not a good thing.if/when he gets in foul trouble, who comes in?Moz is gone.Barron looks to be coming back, but he isnt the answer.so again,Knicks will be mostly undersized and again getting creamed on the boards most nights.

we still have no interior defense,at all.we have an aging point guard whos body has began to crumble the past 2 years.whos also going to be asked to play in a fast paced offense which is not his strength at the age of 34.

yeah, its great we got Melo, but this team is still very flawed whether some want to realize it or not.

A non-Melo/Knicks related question here, I am a bit curious. Most city rivalries have some way to determine which team you end up supporting. I.e. the Celtic - Rangers rivalry of Glasgow (protestant vs. catholic), working class vs. middle/upper class or a geographical divide such as Devils/Rangers/Islanders.

What's the deal with Lakers/Clippers? I understand that in a city/met. area of that size there's room enough for two teams, but why does one end up as a Clippers fan?

The same reason someone ends up a Jets or Giants fan, because that is who they like.

I got out of that sinking ship early. Trading John Starks for that lowlife Sprewell...I'll never get past that. I knew the Knicks were going to be mired in **** after that, and aside from their one lucky finals run in the lockout-shortened season, they basically were, especially once moron Thomas got there.

Blessing in disguise, though. That's when hockey became my true love, and it also opened my eyes to the beauty of San Antonio Spurs basketball, and along the years, other teams and players. My appreciation for the sport itself grew as a result.

I admittedly know nothing about the workings of a basketball team but I'm really surprised to see $3 cash involved in this deal. How does that work? I assume it goes from franchise to franchise, but what can they do with that money exactly?

Do the knicks catch them?
